Here it is, the last Countup. It was hard to decide who's making the final cut, as always. I'll just leave my honorable mentions for a later blog. Tv-wise, I am really looking forward to True Blood (Spoiler: I just hope Lafayette isn't dead!).

In case you are wondering how the dog is doing – mighty fine. In his world, nothing beats getting really really wet… and really really dirty afterwards. Well, except annoying other dogs into playing with him. He's the right one in both pictures.

TV Geek's Songbook

Big Love

Sarah's unexpected singing gave me the chills. It's spoiler-safe and only 40 seconds long but perhaps you have to know the context to enjoy it.

Amanda Seyfried - Amazing Grace

Character Countup #6

# 41. Olive and Chuck / Pushing Daisies

All the time I've been planning to pick Olive over Chuck. Although, after rewatching some Pushing Daisies lately, I gotta admit that Chuck is pretty awesome, too. love that Olive befriended Chuck despite her love-sickness. Oh and Digby, I am a huge fan of his, and Pigby of course.

Favorite Moment: Olive: Hopelessly Devoted to you, being rescued by the piemaker - twice. Chuck: plastic wrap kiss, baking pie for her aunts, in the graveyard with Emmerson, when she was brought back to life

Favorite season: 1

# 42. Patty Hewes / Damages

It was a close call again between her and Ellen but last season the call would have been even closer. Ellen might be the one I root for but Patty's is outstanding for me. I love to hate her and sometimes, very rarely, I just love her. She's so ruthless. Still, once in a while, we see that she is a human being; only to surprise us with her bitcaness again. She has so much rage and pride, innovative character. (middle icons by vesisade/LJ)

Favorite Moment: when Ray shots himself (Zeljko Ivanec is just marvelous in my opinion), the elevator and apartment scenes in the finale of the 2nd season, crying at the beach-house, rage after her marriage problems went public, throwing her son out of the apartment

Favorite season: 1

# 43. David / Six Feet Under

Could any character be more uptight than early-David? Anyhow, I loved him from the start. He was all about self control and responsibility. Nevertheless, he lived that second life for which he loathed himself. When the brothers argued, David's feelings were mostly the ones I cared about. I loved that he stayed with Keith and got more laid back. In fact his character development was huge... without loosing the core of uptight David.

Favorite Moment: in the hospital before Nate died, the future of Keith and him , his abduction, and many more that I have already forgotten, I need to rewatch it.

# 44. Darla and Drusilla / Angel and Buffy

I prefer Darla but she works very well with Drusilla. Also, this way I get another Buffyverse character off my chest (there are still so many). The flashbacks were of course amazing and sometimes, I rooted for the girls even though I wasn't supposed to. My Angel-friends will understand without me making too many words.

Favorite Moment: Darla giving birth, Darla's fight with Angel on the rooftop, shopping spree of Darla and Dru, final minutes of The Trial (Darla doesn't get the reward and Dru sires her again), getting torched by Angel

Favorite season: season 2 Angel

# 45. Juliet / Lost

Ok, yes, I have only recently seen her scene in the finale and it's impossible not to love Juliet afterwards. She used to keep us guessing which side she is on and I always loved Juliet-centered episodes. I really miss the time when Lost characters would have been all over my countup. I still love the show but strangely my love for the characters has faded a little. It's a good thing that it is about the story but man, did I love Hurley. (middle icons by lovepb/LJ)

Favorite Moments: her awkward scenes with lovesick Ben, taking Saywer, Kate, and Jack hostage, when she convinced Sun to trust her, when she brought food to Jack, when she was all bad ass in the finale.

# 46. Ari Gold / Entourage

I love Ari, and I love his relationship with Lloyd (fourth icon). Go Jeremy Piven.

Favorite Moments: e.g. when he refused to take the job with the studio, when he stood up for Lloyd, when he embarrassed his female associate at this party

# 47. Niki and Sarah / Big Love

Again two girls at once. Niki is awesome, the show wouldn't be the same without her. She is so horrible with her children, it hurts me. Still, she means well, I am sure. And I can understand Sarah like no other charcater on that show. Poor her for being forced into this live. She despises it and loves her extended family, naturally that's pretty confusing. It was great seeing Niki and Sarah bond over their wrongdoings.

Favorite Moment: Sarah singing Amazing Grace (see songbook), Niki having her big speech in front of all the neighbors. And many more.

# 48: Logan / Veronica Mars

Yes, I shipped for them, big time. Logan was a jerk... often... but I could relate to his pain and I often felt sorry for him. Veronica and him belong with each other and that's that.

Favorite Moment: The epic speech, Logan and Veronica dancing, the bathroom make out, his face, when Veronica was at the door and he had company. Actually, Anne (FriendsSVULost) did a much better job at describing LoVe scenes, so in case you haven't seen her blog: check here (SPOILERS).

Favorite season: 2 (for Logan! For Veronica it will always be 1)

# 49. Fi and Michael / Burn Notice

OMG, these icons look so Miami Vice. *note to self: make icons of actual scenes of Burn Notice sometime* I think they are funny. I love Fi even more, I love her trigger-happiness and the fact that she is good at what she does. Michael is so dry - it throws me. I love his weird explanations and his obsession with yogurt.

Favorite Moments: when they impersonated a couple, getting busy in the heat of the moment, and all the occasions when he has to stop her from killing someone.

Favorite season: 1

# 50. Alexis / Castle

I have to name her because I can't believe that I like a kid actor so much. Often kids annoy me (Rita's kids on Dexter are another nice exception). I admit some of her lines are a little cheesy but I love it when she is on screen (Icons: bagelcraze.com).

Favorite Moment: when Castle watched her sleeping, playing lazer tag

Photoshop and Me

I am still a little obsessed with photoshop... ok very obsessed. Since my last blog, I have made icons for Supernatural and Pushing Daisies. Thanks to Daria and Katherine for their feedback. In case you want to learn about photoshop as well: here are short (5-15minutes) video-tutorials. Sometimes they are a little too easy but you can pick and choose what to watch: click.

Here are some of my favorites icons:

Pushing Daisies (apart from my new profile icon and the Chuck and Olive ones above. )

Supernatural (season 1 & 2 mainly)

I have opened a public Photobucket account, in case you want to have a look. Comments on the pictures are always appreciated, here or in Photobucket.

Huge blog, sorry, I am all blogged out myself. I even had to shorten it - for the first time! Thanks for reading. Enjoy the weekend!

Yay for firstness!
Posted Jun 7, 2009 4:36 am PT
I'm glad the dog is doing good

Darla & Dru: Both of them are so awesome! I probably love Darla more too, but Dru is almost as awesome.

Ari is awesome too and hilarious! He's probably my favorite Entourage character.

Logan would be so muh higher on my list I'm pretty sure he's over Veronica Mars even.

I love Alexis too. She's probably my favorite character that's someone's kid on a show (without the show being about teenagers...)
I'll check out that tutorial site, everyone has something new they can learn
Posted Jun 7, 2009 4:43 am PT
Thank you, he really is. Glad you like Ari! I know, many people love Logan more. And that's well put: except the show is about teenagers. I hope you'll find interesting stuff, I sure did.
Posted Jun 7, 2009 6:45 am PT
Lol do you mean that Castle is like a teenager? Cause he kinda is Wow those tutorials were annoyingly detailed, I wanted to punch the screen... I need a little less basic stuff.
Posted Jun 7, 2009 6:50 am PT
Good morning! Morning here in Kingston Pa anyway. What time is it there? I suck at time zones. Nice looking dog, I'm not really a dog person, well, I like other peoples' dogs Patty Hewes, soooo evil, but I do see that glommer of humanity once ina while. Glwnn Close is a wonderful actress. Darla/Dru, I loved those too, they were like evil vamp sisters. I also loved when Darla told Connor he was the only good thing she ever did. Fi and Michael, my favorite kick @$$, yogurt loving couple. One couple who definately did not lose anything after hooking up. Alexis, I love her relationship with her dad. Those 2 scenes were my favorite too. *Off to stare at great SPN icons again*
Posted Jun 7, 2009 7:27 am PT
Great blog! I agree on Olive and Chuck, love them both (Chuck a little more than Olive though...). Love Darla. Drusilla is probably my favourite character in all of Angel (Reunion is my favourite episode). Juliet rocks my world. I've only seen the first season of Big Love, but I do love Niki...she is so complex. Barb and Margie are my favourites, though. And to be honest, I don't understand how Bill ended up with any of these great women. I'm not really a Logan fan, LoVe was my least favourite part of season three. I love your icon btw, Anna Friel looks adorable!
Posted Jun 7, 2009 8:03 am PT
Daria Ya, well, somehow that's true. Don't take the introductory courses. I'd recommend the advanced tutorials in the level series but maybe you're to impatient for it overall.

Emiko Good morning to you! It's a good dog. *sigh* But a handful, that's true. It's 5 p.m. over here, I thought it should be 11 a.m. for you, but I easily get confused. I knew you'd understand with Fi and Michael and great that you like Alexis as well. Great Connor scene, great episode overall, except the very end with Connor and Cordy... And thanks for the praise, that makes me so happy! I was hoping you'd like the Sam ones.

tvfan Nice to meet you and thanks a bunch. I am glad you like the icon. Reunion is a great episode, indeed. I am glad you know Big Love a little, not many of my friends do. Margie is my favorite as well and I agree on Bill. Season 3 was a bit of a letdown wasn't it? I still liked the show. Veronica could have carried the show alone but since I am pretty loyal with my ships I was still invested in them.

Yay for Michael & Fiona

Oooooh, do I see Purple Nurples?
Posted Jun 7, 2009 8:48 am PT
So, about a 6 hour difference. I think I can remember that.
Posted Jun 7, 2009 8:49 am PT
vman Well put.

Emiko Yay you for spotting the purple nurples! Daria told me that these kind of icons were of little use, and shockingly she is right. I love my nurples anyways. Lazy Sundays are the best, aren't they? Enjoy Chuck.
Posted Jun 7, 2009 9:13 am PT
Sam icons, sweet!
Posted Jun 7, 2009 9:28 am PT
Yay for David, Patty and Juliet.
Posted Jun 7, 2009 9:42 am PT
Aww I'm sad that these blogs are ending =(. Any ideas what you're gonna do next? I will probably be blogging properly soon (only 3 exams left =D). Hehe those dogs are cute =P. As for the characters, I think you might know that I quite like Darla? Haha you know how much I love her, my favourite ever TV character =). Love Drusilla also, how can you not love someone that crazy? "I'm ringing all over" still makes me laugh whenever I see it haha. I love Logan too, he's awesome. I think I'd have him as my third fave character from Veronica Mars, I love Veronica and her dad more. And I love Mac and Wallace too. Meh, I love them all pretty much! And I don't watch Castle but I totally agree about Rita's kids from Dexter! They are just so awesome and cute, how can anyone not love them? Haha I'm loving Dexter so much this season. In the last episode Dexter killed that dying woman at the hospital, you know the one who was dying from cancer? It was so sad =(. Awesome icons, don't watch either shows (will probably start Supernatural again soon!) but the colours are awesome! Great blog, looking forward to seeing what's coming next!
Posted Jun 7, 2009 9:47 am PT
Aw cute dog! Amanda Seyfried has a great voice, she was the one good reason to watch Mamma Mia! So I enjoyed the video just for her lovely voice

Aw, Olive and Chuck as the same choice is good, I think, in season 2 I couldn't really fault either of them. I loved them both! Logan was brilliant in VM, his scenes with Veronica were the best. I absolutely adore his epic speech!! I love your icons, Katherine sent me a link to your photobucket yesterday so I could have a look at the PD ones! You picked out some really good Chuck moments especially
Posted Jun 7, 2009 11:13 am PT
Wow another awesome countup! -trust Daria to be first lol- OMG I love your dog! I'm so jealous I want a dog too! He is called Scorch or something right? Sorry I forget. LOL you put so many pairs of characters together that's cheating you know, I have to say you have such good taste in TV you watch a lot of shows that not many people watch but I watch them too

Olive and Chuck: it is a lil of a cheat to put them together but when I think about it I would have the same dilemma, it actually took me a little longer to love Chuck than Olive but I loved them both in the end. Like you I love when they finally had it out about Olive's love for The Piemaker. I love all the moments you've mentioned and I also love when Olive is rescued by Ned in "Girth" and she kisses him! I also loved when Olive and Ned have to kiss in "Water and Power" ... I kinda shipped both Olive/Ned and Chuck/Ned ... naughty I know hehe.

Patty Hewes: As soon as I saw Patty on your countup I nearly jumped for joy! and you have to exact same feelings about Patty that I do! She is so ruthless! Yet I also have those occasions when I feel myself rooting for her like in season 2 when she confronted her son Michael's older girlfriend. My fave moment is probably when Ray shoots himself too! I can't tell you how much I loved Ray! I was so sad AND shocked when he did that. I've only seen him in two things, this and True Blood, but Zeljko Ivanek is one of my favourite actors I also love Patty and Ellen's many staring matches, I also have the problem of liking both Patty and Ellen equally because I love to hate Patty. Roll on season 3!

David: Six Feet Under is one of those shows I loved but never got to see enough of, from what I remember I really loved David too he was extremely uptight and I loved his relationship with his boyfriend and his daughter. I've been planning to buy the complete boxed set of Six Feet Under for a while now so I can finally sit down and enjoy the whole show. I love MCH and I love Alan Ball

I don't know anything about Drusilla/Darla, Juliet, Logan and precious little about Ari Gold since I have seen all of two episodes of Entourage. I did however used to watch Big Love, the only reason I stopped watching in fact is because the show was ranked from free to air TV and put on a pay channel, but it was so long ago and I don't remember enough about about those characters to comment. Perhaps I should revisit that show.

Michael and Fi: Yay I've totally been watching Burn Notice so I can comment! *Burn Notice dance* I've really got into this show and I've been trying to catch up cos season three has just started. I have to agree with you Michael and Fi are my favourite characters too. I love that Fi is trigger happy too! She's from a tradition of trigger happy girls like Jo Lupo from Eureka and Sarah Walker from Chuck I feel. I'm 100% with you on Michael's explanations and the yogurt thing.... I don't get the yogurt thing and I love that I don't get it it's just so random! Fi and Michael must have very healthy colons that's all I can say! I'm only on the second episode of season 2 I need to catch up... oh and I like Tricia Helfer as Karla too nice to see her out of that blond wig

Wow your icons are sooooo good Ela! I'm deffo gonna check out that tutorial I have Photoshop and I'm kinda spose to use it for my work (illustration) but I'm so rubbish at it and prefer to do everything by hand
Posted Jun 7, 2009 11:50 am PT
Aw that dog is so cute Onto the countup! So both Olive and Chuck are number 41 huh! It's only a tiny cheat They're both awesome, I love the moments you picked - and Digby and Pigby are amazing

Patty Hewes! What a surprise!! I know you're meant to root for Ellen; and I could never get past that to like Patty; I know what you mean though "love to hate her"; she's so manipulative and I never know when to trust what shes saying! But she's an interesting character

David!!! I'm so glad he's on the list; I'm so bad about remembering characters from shows that aren't still airing but David was my favourite... although after reading your favourite moments I realised how bad my memory is I can't remember when I loved him, just remember that I did! Michael C Hall is just a fantastic actor though, I think I'd watch a show just for him

I preferred Darla to Drusilla too, but they're both good - I loved Darla so much more in Angel but I guess we get to see a lot of different sides to her in Angel so maybe that's why, either way, great pick!

I definitely loved Juliet after the Lost finale too... although I remember right at the start I wasn't keen on her - I liked her with Sawyer too which was a surprise as usually I'm not interested at all in the love stories Lost throws out!!

I haven't seen much of Big Love so can't comment on it too much - I'm really not a Niki fan though!! She drives me mad, but then I suppose she's supposed to... I'm not sure can't say I love her, but maybe I haven't seen enough of it to really appreciate her eccentricity (that's the nicest word I could think of for it!). As I've already written a novel (As per usual!) I'll just say Logan (VM) and Alexis (Castle) are awesome picks, I love them both and boringly enough, agree with everything you said about them!!

I won't say much about the icons since I pretty much have already gushed about them since I saw them, but I love them, you picked some of my favourites too... what are your plans for new icons?
Posted Jun 7, 2009 12:19 pm PT
Love the charactercountup . Olive and Chuck (the piehoes!) are both awesome and the fact that they can be friends despite their Ned-love is really cute.
Darla and Drusilla are awesome too, I prefer Drusilla because of the craziness. Juliet.. . She's currently my Lost-favorite too (I still love most of the characters though). Weird, in the beginning I didn't even really like her. Was convinced she was evil. But now I love her so much that I'm making up all sorts of crazy theories in which she can still be alive. She's like this really vulnerable woman who at the same time can totally kick your ass.
Logan is my favorite VM-character after Veronica of course.
Posted Jun 7, 2009 12:23 pm PT
Some good characters there, I would definitely agree with you on Ari, Logan and Darla. I love that first icon of Ari!! lol!!
Posted Jun 7, 2009 2:55 pm PT
Emiko I couldn't be happier that I pleased a Sam-girl. So nice, you let me know.

Shawn I am glad you like those choices! And I am sure you could have named better scenes for David, I really need to brush up my SFU knowledge. I know that I love him, though.

Twisted Aw, your comment made me smile! So you'll be blogging again? That is so awesome and long overdue. I hope you'll rock these final three exams. Big time! Of, course I am convinced that Schorsch (the dog) is the cutest on earth, I can't be objective and I don't plan to. Aw, thanks, I am glad you like the blogs. In fact, I have many characters left but I feel it's getting weirder and weirder. My next blog will be an anniversary blog, 1 year tv.com, I have a special plan and I hope I'll come through with it. Afterwards, I have to slip in my honorable mentions and I feel they will be pretty similar to the countup. I'll keep my eyes open though and maybe I'll steal from you. Darla is awesome of course! And that's such a good Drusilla quote. I love Julie Benz DVDs interviews as well, she's just adorable! You know what? Maybe I gotta hand it to you and I love Keith more than Logan as well... He's so wonderful and his relation to Veronica just rocks. Many good VM characters, right? Yay Rita's kids. I am so sad that she made no appearance in the countup yet, I just watch too much tv. That Dexter episode was heartbreaking, I remember very well... You are in for a treat, the final episodes of Dexter never disappoint in my opinion. I am glad you like the icons, even without knowing the shows. It'll be interesting what you watch next! Talk soon, Twisted. Hang in there for the last bit of the exam-a-thon.

Elly Aw, thank you! I am so glad you liked the Amanda Seyfried song, too. I have a very soft spot for her and that song is stuck in my head for days now. It's really annoying because I can't really sing it in public, people would call me crazy and they'd be right. Wonderful voice, agreed. You love Olive and Chuck as well, great. I still have the final episode to watch, I can't bring myself to do it, I can't really let go. Still, afterwards, I'll report to you. Wow, you have seen the icons already? *happy dance* I am very flattered to hear that, thank you!

Jodie So much praise from you, that makes me mighty proud! I am very impressed by your memory, he is called "Schorsch" and I know that the "sch" must be very unfamiliar to your ears. It translates to George. Glad you like him, he is a pure joy, I can't tell you. Technically, he is not really mine but I choose to ignore that. I know, I was cheating big time... I really love them all you know. Chuck and Olive together were always great! Aw, the kiss... *sigh* I totally ship Olive and Ned as well, it's hard not to root for her. I love the fact that the show makes us root for both. When Patty confronted that girlfriend, that was such a great scene! I cheered when she told her son he should go live with her. Go Patty, that woman doesn't take any crap. And I am so happy that you share the love for Zeljko Ivanek, I loved him in True Blood as well. He had many guest spots, Heroes for example, House, 24. I haven't seen all but IMO it was nothing that suited him. He is traditionally a film actor but no real leads that I know of. He will be in the next season of Big Love, though. As a regular, I think. Bad, bad guy, we already got a glimpse of him and he gave me the creeps. Yay staring matches!

I didn't know you watched Six Feet Under. MCH is wonderful indeed. Also Alan Ball. It's a truly great show in my opinion and a good investment in my book. It got a little worse in later seasons but you have to watch the final episode anyhow (better the final half season at least). Every SFU fan will tell you, you must.

Entourage took me a while to really get into. Strangely enough I like but don't really love the main characters. Sometimes I do but not really. I love the show for it's realistic take on showbiz, though. I think sometimes it's priceless and with awesome guest stars. Big Love - I was totally put off by the concept at first but I love the way that they handle the moral dilemmas. Strong female characters also. I won't go to far out of my way to recommend these shows to you. I do love them but since you took a glimpse already, you'll know whether to invest the time.

We both love trigger happy girls. *cheer* I had to look up Jo Lupo but I remember her of course - she's awesome! @healthy colons! Tricia Helfer... Loved her on Chuck as well. I really have to catch up on Battlestar Gallactica. It was great, I don't really know why I stopped watching... And thanks, thanks, thanks about the icons, I am a real show off, right? Still, I like them to be liked. And I hope the tutorials will help, I learned a lot. You're in illustration? I didn't know. Good luck with the learning! Although, looking at your banners, I do have the suspicion that you are just being modest. Thanks for your thoughts, Jodie.

Katherine Aw, Digby and Pigby!! Thanks for allowing the tiny cheats, I was pretty desperate to squeeze in some more. I know what you mean with Patty. Shockingly, I did root for her sometimes and I hang on to the hope that she can have decent motivations. Regarding likability, Ellen wins out for sure. Yay David. I couldn't agree more on MCH, I would watch him in anything. SFU got me interested in Dexter and I remember that we already covered how different he is in both shows. Marvelous actor. But I admit, my memory for SFU is very bad as well.
Yes, Lost is not really for shippers, is it? Still, she was nice with Sawyer. I might have disliked her, too, in the beginning, I can't really remember. Wasn't it the stuff with hostage Jack, that we got to see her first? I think I liked her then. Oh, Lost memory, also not my strong suit. You dislike Niki, I can relate. You're right that she is supposed to drive you mad. Still, she has grown on me and I do love her now. But I don't think everyone does. Much like Patty, I just enjoy her a lot. She's broken and that appeals to me. Glad you like Alexis and Logan. I am really pimping out the icons, am I not? Thanks though, I'm happy. And I don't really have plans, if you think of something in particular, shoot. I downloaded some TBBT screencaps, so you might like some of those. Go Sheldon. Besides, I am already watching with one eye hunting for great scenes so maybe it'll just be the shows I'll watch.

Anne Thanks, that's very nice. The piehoes, lol. Their friendship rocks, right? Dru's craziness is great, I agree. Juliet's death was sad, wasn't it. I already knew all about it and I had a tear in my eye anyway. That hardly ever happens. I can't really remember how I felt in the very beginning. I think that I always hoped she was decent but I might be wrong. She totally can be alive, I choose to believe that as well! Kick-ass and vulnerable, well put. And I kind of figured with Logan.

Nat Thanks for letting me know! That Ari icon certainly is great, I think so, too.

Posted Jun 7, 2009 4:25 pm PT
You make such pretty icons. And Darla and Dru were oh so good together.
Posted Jun 7, 2009 6:47 pm PT
Hi!!! Well ummmm... I have no idea what the point of any of this was because I obviously missed the first ones... But still... I... I like Olive and Chuck. They're awesome!
And you make some rad as icons!
I think that I would be as obsessed with photoshop too if I actually had photoshop
And it is good that the dog is good ???? Not that I really know what you're talking about but hey! I'm trying here
Nice meeting you, hopefully I can understand more in future blogs
Posted Jun 7, 2009 7:41 pm PT
I know what you mean about Patty and Niki; it's not always the most likeable characters that are the most interesting; I remember you saying you liked characters who were a bit broken (think we were talking about House...) but I think it's good you don't always go for the obvious choices! I really should see more of Big Love to form a proper opinion of Niki (that's another show on my ever growing, never ending to-watch list!).

Sheldon icons would be awesome There's so many shows I love, not sure how they'd work icon-wise though, maybe if you go back and rewatch SFU you could make some Claire or David icons - but I only thought of that because of David being in this blog; or hey (This is how non-imaginative I am!) what about some Dexter icons Nah, Sorry I'm rubbish at ideas, I'm sure there will be some great ones though, it's a good idea just to be keeping an eye out while you watch shows
Posted Jun 8, 2009 2:18 am PT
fatfree Oh, that's so kind, I'm glad. D&D are a good team, right?

Jess Hi yourself! Nice to meet you, too. Maybe no one is understanding the half of it? Glad you know and like Chuck and Olive and thanks, I'm glad. You like cheeky dogs? He can be pretty cheeky and I love that about him as well. Still, sometimes I am glad that he's trying to be good. I don't need a robot dog of course but I learned that some obedience is super important. He can't go and scare children for example because he wants to play with them, he's far to big for stuff like that. And he's still a bit of a puppy, you know, it shows.

Katherine Broken is a House-term isn't it? I had this association as well. You know, when I was reading the comments yesterday, I was thinking whether I would passionately recommend Big Love. I'm not sure, you know. Sometimes Big Love is a bit of a soap opera and some story lines are so overly dramatic when you think about them. Same with SFU, when I read about David's backstory (ya, I was cheating ), it totally reads like a bad soap. Still, both shows have a great atmosphere for me. And I admire that Big Love got me to the point of actually understanding how women, not that different from me, could end up in such a relationship. And made me root for them and their family without idealizing the whole thing. But there are so many shows right? And I like your icon ideas... There are definitely not enough Claire and David icons in this world. And I miss Dexter.

Posted Jun 8, 2009 3:11 am PT
Hey Ela Yes Schorsch, I was close huh? Yeah the sch is a little unfamiliar and tbh I'm not sure if my pronounciation is correct I love dogs and he is very cute! Why is he not really your dog? I can't remember did you say he is your neighbours dog or something? I'm glad I'm not the only one that ships Ned/Chuck AND Ned/Olive it's a really sneaky ship! The concept of Big Love is a little off putting but a little intriguing as well in a kind voyouristic manner and now that you've informed me that Zeljko Ivanek is going to be a regular I'm totally gonna start watching again! The complete boxed set of Six Feet Under was on offer for 60GBP at amazon.co.uk but then again it's region 2 and I don't know if there are any extras stripped from it. Oh you'll be pleased to hear that my DVDs on ebay now have more bids! I have 6 bids on TSCC and 3 on Mad Men TTSC is up to 9.50GBP with means I have nearly broke even as it cost me 9.99BGBP. I saw Tricia Helfer on Chuck before I saw her on BSG incidently, so I didn't get the fascination with her at first but now I do she's a great actress and I have such a soft spot for Number 6 I cannot tell you! I'm only up to I think the second episode of season 2 in BSG how far did you get? I should clarify I'm an illustration student I'm not working yet but I think I'm gonna leave university... but that's another story.

Cute dogs I love 44 and 48, especially 48! I love the icons but I don't really watch those shows, I fell behind something crazy with Supernatural! Have a good week

I'm currently downloading everything possible from the Church and working on making a playlist of all of his songs, if you want I can email it to you when I'm done But it's gonna take a while.

Also if you want I can keep you updated on anything really interesting that I find. So far there's very little... and I learned something yesterday which explains why I don't love NPH quite as much as I should when I watch Doogie Howser. Young NPH is not the NPH we know and love. He's just not funny and not as interesting. I was so shocked, but I watched 1 hour and 30 minutes of interviews with 24 year old NPH and I can't say I was bored, but I wasn't far from being bored. Right rambeling... I was actually just going to stop by and ask if you wanted links to the good stuff? NPH singing at the Tonys he's so amazing *swoon* Also even 24 year old NPH's singing is to die for

you are awesome. i mean your icons man whoa i love them! brilliant. amazing. whoa. alexis is cool yes i'd love it if NF was my dad i mean in a tv show not in real life. i'd rather be married to him in real life.. and dude, gotta tell ya all about the killers. cus they were amazinggggggggggggggggg
Posted Jun 8, 2009 5:45 am PT
Jodie You were very close! I thought about describing the pronunciation but it would be to too weird. Ok, I'll try. Imagine "sch" like the "sh" in "Hush". It sounds kind of funny then. He's my friends dog and he spends much time with me alone so he feels like a little like mine. Voyeuristic, I know what you mean. Ausiello said that ZI will be back majorly next season, yes. It's a big cast though. Yippee, That sounds great with the sales. And still possibility that it'll go up. I finished the second season of BG I think. I didn't see the miniseries, that was a mistake, maybe. I might start there. Number 6 is great. I see, exciting time for you then. Maybe we'll talk about that sometime, I'd like to know what your plans are.

Steph Thanks!! Logan is fun, isn't he? Have a good week yourself!

Daria Good luck with that songlist. We covered that bold NPH is the best right? He would have liked to be a singer, don't you think? You know that I am always game for your recommendations! But only if it doesn't mean a hassle for you. *waves*

Zala Aw, thanks!! Go Alexis. Having that role of her would be nice, right? All that hugging involved? And thanks for sharing, that looked like such an awesome night. *swoon*

Posted Jun 8, 2009 7:25 am PT
Yes bold NPH is the most awesome Well I have almost just gone through music so far but I'll let you know I'm still at the 10th tag from the top lol.

Lafayette's an interesting character. They shouldn't kill him off. Seyfried does have a nice voice, although I didn't see Mamma Mia. All great Pushing Daisies moments. I love the relationship between Olive and Chuck, how each one cares for the other even though they're in love with the same man. Kristen's a fabulous singer, we were all witnesses to that! Every hair on my body gave a standing ovation (LOL) for Patty during that beach house scene! Zeljko Ivanec -- great underrated character actor! C.Hall's transition from David to Dexter's just amazing! I'm hoping Mitchell's role on V is much meatier and challenging than it already is on Lost. Can't wait for V to air! I loved early years of Ari and of course, his relationship with Lloyd is frickingly hilarious! Lately, I'm getting a bit tired of his character. Haha I hate Nikki, that's how awesome Sevigny is as an actress. I love Marg among all the BL characters. I need a VM refresher/re-viewing! I have my copy of Burn Notice S1 & S2. Is this show any good? Yay for Alex! She's one of the more adorable daughters on TV today. Terrific job with the icons! You do love your Photoshop and Photobucket, don't you!?
Posted Jun 8, 2009 8:03 am PT
Ela. HUGE MISTAKE! you HAVE to watch the miniseries before you watch the series proper or it wont make much sense! Go back and watch the miniseries NOW! The miniseries is REAllY good I was impressed right from the first scene Number 6 is amazing!
Oh I have another bid on Mad Men it is now up to 6.25GBP (Pounds are nearly the same as euros now I think *sigh*) I have two days left!
Posted Jun 8, 2009 8:12 am PT
Daria Thanks, awesome. I so would be too lazy to do it myself. You know LJ and me, not friends. But I am getting better. I even went there for icons this time.

Macky Really? Does my photoshop obsession show? To my defense, I am only writing about that for two blogs now, which are accidentally the blogs that you have seen. Thanks for the icon praise, though, nice to hear. I haven't watched Mama Mia, either, but nice voice indeed. The beach house, *sigh* Zelkjo Ivanek is a bit underrated right? I mean he got an Emmy and a lot of guest spots but I really wanna see him in the spotlight again. And I was so transfixed when I first saw Dexter, I almost couldn't believe that that's the same guy! Yes, V!! I can't wait to see her in another role. I remember the original series very vaguely from my childhood. I can't remember much. But Alan Tudyk is another plus. And the other actress from Firefly, Morena something. You grew tired of Ari? Well, I am not there, yet, but maybe I can understand you a little. I used to like Entourage a wee bit more. Aw, Margie is my favorite as well. You hate Niki? Really? Well you are not alone, I bet. Don't you ever feel for her? Not ever? I do... big time. Burn Notice? Well, it's not really a must-see, but I enjoy it. It's about this ex-spy who wants to find out why he was fired. Meanwhile, he needs to make his living with jobs for which he is totally overqualified. And it has these weird McGyver-like explanations about how to built tracking devices, unable alarms, and so on. Love those. The characters are too cool for school. Thankfully, the show doesn't take itself too seriously, though. I prefer the first season. You'll get a pretty good idea from the pilot.

Jodie Wow, when you put it like that. I love it when the first scene is awesome. And uiuiui, you are gonna be rich! Fingers crossed you'll break even, on average at least.

I hate twitter... I hate Nathan. Ok you know I mean just the opposite but I wanna be in London so badly I've been to 2/3 of the places he's posted a picture of btw Also not posting the tony awards is evil. Just watched the World Magic Award, which Neil also hosted. It's worth watching cause neil sleeping for 8 hours is worth watching, but it's not something I higly recomend Also watched a cute DH MD Season 1 interview, at least he was interesting and thankful. But nothing like the funny NPH we got now... Also rewatched his click!! proves that this NPH is not the same as the one in his 20s.

Posted Jun 8, 2009 10:51 am PT
i absolutely love chuck and olive and i think that alexis is a really great character played by a very talented young actress. juliet has never been my favourite but i quite liked her in the last episode of season 5, i've only just started to watch "burn notice" so up till now i can't say too much about fi and michael. six feet under is on my thingstowatchlist for this summer so i might be able to say more about david later on this year.

your icons look amazing, btw. great job there! unfortunately i lost photoshop when i updated my ibook and i'm very bad at working with gimp ...

Pretty doggies! I love dogs.

It's amazing how Ned and Chuck can be the seemingly happiest tv couple (they both love each other and acknowledge their feelings) and yet the ultimate 'can never be' couple at the same freepin time. I mean, really, they can't touch each other, they have to keep at a 'safe' distance or have plastic wrapping between them! But anyways, I like all the characters on the show. And even though, I feel bad for Olive, she did the same thing to that one guy from the 1st season, until he left and she realized maybe she liked him.

I don't watch Damages, and I've only seen 3 episodes of Six Feet Under, so I can't really comment on those characters. Actually, I haven't watched Lost, Entourage, Big Love or Veronica Mars either. But from watching all the freepin promos on ABC, I liked Jack, really didn't like Sawyer (and I don't understand the attraction either).

I like Drusilla, she was funny, in a terribly tragic way. Darla never really grabbed my interest/sympathy/anything really.

Fiona and Michael aren't bad characters, but their whole relationship annoys me. It's another one of those 'had a thing in the past, don't want to be hurt again, really can't commit' relationships that drive me crazy. I loved the show during the first season, but either the show or I changed after that, and I really couldn't get back into it.

Yeah, Alexis is surprisingly likeable. She doesn't have much to do, beyond being the responsible one in the family (to the extreme at times) and inspiring Castle, but she's a decent character.

Someone's gone icon crazy!

Daria Poor you. Life is just too cruel, is it? That's a cute clippy! You must have been so torn with those nominees! LMAO First HIMYM award, congrats.

Jodie London... *sigh*

Zala I'll totally try to be as close as you guys were, woohoo! Maybe even in that sweater... lol

Daria Am I understanding his tweet wrong or will be be in Berlin next? ner-ner - *tries to avoid the kicks but fails miserably.*

Bea Oh, that sucks to loose software. I have tried gimp but I didn't think it was easy either. Glad Alexis is loved, I didn't expect that. And I get not to love Juliet too much, I don't know, part of my always rooted for her (I might remember it wrong though). Have fun with SFU, I'll be interested in your opinion, I haven't seen the show in too long. And thank you! I'm glad.

Seyonne Thanks. I agree of course, super pretty. You are right about Olive and that guy, I almost forgot about him. In a way, I like that Ned and Chuck were together from the start. This never-can-be was a worry of mine and I think it would have been hard to keep that interesting/developing for long... Jack was my favorite for some time. Sawyer has a very likable backstory for me. Dru and Darla are both very tragic characters, aren't they? Alexis should have more to do, I agree. Seyonne, do you remember the beginning of the second season of Burn Notice when I was a little disappointed and you said you still liked it? It's funny, I think I suffered through some rough patches and you might have given up on it. I agree, the first season was better, I can't argue with that. Still, it's not a never will be couple, if that's what your thinking. And after the first episode of season 3, I am hoping it'll be nice this season. That said. I get that you gave up on it, I really do. And I totally went crazy. Have a nice week!

So it's a newfound obsession then? Do you post your icons somewhere else? Or it's just a hobby? I especially like the ones for Damages. And the SFU title icon. Oh yeah, he did win the Emmy last year. I forgot about that! Not so underrated after all. He's the busiest actor I know! It seems he's on every regular network and cable show there is. I haven't seen the original miniseries. I wasn't really into alien/scifi stuff until I watched The X-Files. Now I can watch about almost anything. Still debating on the idea on whether to watch The Tudors or not. Baccarin. Yeah, I'm glad she has a regular show again. Supergirl from Smallville's in V too. And Party of Five's Scott Wolf. Agree, I enjoyed Entourage more during their earlier seasons. I actually like Niki's feistiness ad her devotion to Bill and her family. But then in the last season she seemed to be way too self-centered and scheme-y. It got harder for me to root/feel for her. She makes things more complicated for Bill than it already is. I do think she makes the marriage more interesting. OK, I'll try to find time for Burn Notice. It's hard to prioritize when you want to watch so many shows.

yes he will be in Berlin too, looks like he's having an amazing summer I'm just kicking Jodie cause she's teasing and that's just mean!
Posted Jun 9, 2009 4:50 am PT
So hang on. Let me get this straight.... Nathan will be in London (WITH ME) and then in Berlin (WITH ELA) but not with Daria?
Ela, let's do the "suck on that Daria dance"! *Dancing*
"Your powers of Chuck-Kung-Fu will not work on me Daria I will deflect them with my super dance Mwuahhaha!"
Posted Jun 9, 2009 6:29 am PT
Macky Oh nooo! You are giving me far too much credit! I haven't made all the icons, above. I always search for the icons, which sometimes proves hard, f.e. Ari, so I don't love all of them. You picked great favorites but none of them are mine. I started learning more about photoshop less than two weeks ago and that's the main reason why everyone here is being so nice. I have only made Pushing Daisies icons, Supernatural, and a few Buffy and Big Bang Theory ones. They can only be found in the photobucket account, I don't expect to make money with them any time soon. Well putting Zeljko Ivanek in some less than perfect guest spots (True Blood was awesome I think) counts for me. I hope he'll be around in Big Love a lot, even though his character creeps me out big time. Go Sci-Fi! I don't know the Tudors but I was thinking about that as well. Only because I love Mason in Dead Like Me and that's a poor motivation. I did watch Rome though and it was great. Maybe someday Tudors... I don't know Smallville either, although I've seen a few episodes in season 5. Nice enough but I couldn't be bothered catching up. Party of Five is another show I don't know anything about. So, I do get the problem with prioritizing... I still think Angel would be the far better choice than Burn Notice. Sorry, I just couldn't stop myself from saying that. Still, you'll know whether you'll like BN very soon so that's always a good thing, right?

Daria OMG. Does that mean I have to walk around the streets from now on, lol...

Jodie Squueeee. ROFL.. *joins Jodie with some hesitant dancing steps* *pokes Daria* *smile hunni, life is cruel*

Posted Jun 9, 2009 8:07 am PT
Yes Ela do the dance! *dances with Ela* Oo oo I have make a point of actually going out when he's here just to make a point of pissing off Daria You know I was thinking that someone somewhere must know where he'll be... but then again I wouldn't even have known who he was if I had seen him on the street up until a few weeks when Tish forced me to watch Firefly... and Daria keeps banging on about him Yeah walk around the touristy places and the bars in Berlin Ela with your camera you might get lucky (and pee off Daria)
Posted Jun 9, 2009 12:34 pm PT
*joins some more victory dancing with Jodie* Well sweetie, you gotta get in gear then, he is in London like right now. He is already posting pictures on twitter, today of Knotting Hill, subway Ladbroke Grove. Far from you? Did you know that Tish has a twitter account as well? I found out last week or so. And showing off pictures of him would be indeed awesome. *does the gansta pose she learned from Zala*
