So, finally i'm starting my Blog, hope you guys enjoy it, anyway, i choose this theme because i like Anime and Manga, i'm not an Otaku but i enjoy a story once in a while, so i decided to do this list.

Now, remember, this is only my opinion, so your list would be probably be different, and its only one character per franchise, so this is screwatt...oh wait, sorry, got a little carried away anyway, lets start.

10.- Reika from Gantz

This is probably the sexiest character i ever seen, i mean, she is beautiful and sexy (for a manga character of course), the author Hiroya Oku really know what he was doing, first he taunt us with others sexy main female characters, suddenly, bum, dead, and then, he give us Reika, a gorgeous Japanese idol, very attractive, very sexy, etc, and above all, she wears a suit that leaves little to the imagination, of course, everything in Gantz leaves little to the imagination, but still, her design is perfect, its like every man dream comes true; sexy celebrity wearing a tight suit. Sadly, her design is the only good stuff on her, thats why she is number 10, her personality is not as great as others Gantz characters, she is in love with the main character, and as always, he doesnt correspond her, and because of that, she is always crying or worried for him to much, then again, she is not useless at all, she has managed to gain 100 points twice, and this last time, it seems that she will be doing some interesting things, i just hope that this bring something else to her, like some major role in future plots, sadly and like Gantz usually do, this could also mean her death is near, personally, i would love to see Reika until the end of Gantz, and have a happy ending.

9.- Sasha from Saint Seiya The Lost Canvas

Saint Seiya or Knights of the Zodiac, is one of my all time favorite show, i watched it when i was kid every Saturday, and i just love it, it was the coolest show ever, great fights, great characters, great lines, i remember also that the first chapters were kind of bad or not as great as the rest, but when Athena show up the show really start to kick ass, the plot? well, Athena and her warriors have to stop the bad guys, only problem, Athena was USELESS, she does nothing other than been a trouble for the Saints, they always have to rescue her, and it was a good setting for the fights, but c'mon, you should expect that a Goddess liker her would do something else than praying, she only start to figure it out until the end of the series, oh well, nice doing, you finally got your armor, but the show is over.

So why then i choose Sasha? first of all, who is Sasha? well, she is the incarnation of Athena in the time that Lost Canvas is placed, that's mean, like 240 years before the Saint Seiya we all know, and unlike her present time counterpart, Saori, she is not that useless, i mean, she has a major role here, sure, the Sainst still have to protect her, but at least this time, she is not only praying for the sake of the world, also, i feel her more human, even though she suppose to be a Goddes, why? well, she cries over her soldiers deaths (Saori only cried when Seiya was hurt, like he was the only one fighting), she has some selfish goals (sort of speaking), overall, she is way more active. I haven't read a lot Lost Canvas, but what i've been reading its pretty good, and i'm really excited about the new Anime, Sasha will be voiced by Aya Hirano, in my opinion, the best Seiyu in Japan, so another reason why i like this character, then again, she is only number 9 because she is not as memorable IMO like my other choices.

8.- Seras Victoria from Hellsing (Manga)

This is a character i really like, but make no mistake, i dont like much the one in the Gonzo Anime, instead, i prefer the original and more sadistic Victoria from the manga, for me, the one in the Gonzo anime was way to boring.

From one of my favorite mangas, Hellsing, Seras Victoria is at first a minor character, is more like the comedian relief, she has not much action at first, she is weak and like i said, her only purpose was to make jokes, her design is good, is your typical sexy anime character, but i like the contrast between her and Integra, a much more serious character. Victoria shows some interesting fights, but nothing really spectacular, so she has a really weak start, still, with all this "flaws" she was a very likeable character. Then something happen, the final saga begins, around Volumen 6 (i guess), and after some events, Seras became a true vampire (she was not complete, because she haven't drinked human blood), then, what happend? easy, she kick ass, she became powerful, not only powerful, very, very powerful, her personality changes completely, from an insecure girl, to a confident one, to a level to even defy priest Alexander Anderson (one of the most powerful characters in the manga), she is not more a secondary character, well, she may still be, but she now has a major role, she is a fighter now, a force to be reckoned.

In my opinion, she is the third most powerful character in the Manga, and has some of the most spectacular fights too, specially the last one, overall, i like her change a lot, from a comical character, to a serious one, that's why i like her so much, besides her power looks cool, and i like her ending too, predictable, but good, overall, a great character and my number 8 choice.

C'mon, this looks cool, doesn't matter if you are a fan or not.

7.- Lucy/Nyu from Elfen Lied (Anime)

I know that there is also a Manga version, but i haven't had the chance to read it, anyway, i remember when i friend told me about this Anime, some years ago (3 or 4years perhaps), i wasn't an Anime/Manga fan like today then, anyway, he told me that it was excellent, so bloody, with a lot of drama, etc, i was like, ok, i'll watch it, it was Saturday, i put it to see the first 2 chapters, well, it was so great, that i actually watch the 13 episodes that night, wow, what an Anime, but, mainly, what a great main character, Lucy/Nyu.

Why i like her? well, she has split personality, both are great, Nyu is so cute and funny, so innocent, so sweet and so different from Lucy, because, Lucy is a cold ruthless killer. In the beginning of the Anime, in one of the most violent intros i ever watch, she escape from a lab, and then, thanks to a hit in her head, Lucy develops Nyu, then both personalities appear according to the situation, when Nyu is in great danger, Lucy appears, and when Lucy is treated with kind or love, Nyu appears, and that's how it works.

Despite her situation, there are other things that i like about her, for example, her design, she is a redhead young girl, but she is not your voluptuous anime girl, she has a more "realistic" body, sort of speaking, besides, her Seiyu does a great job, but the greatest thing about this character is her evolution trough the series, like a said before, Lucy is a cold killer, but soon, you discover that first, she was an innocent girl who was badly treated as a child, later, she falls in love and she starts to change, and exactly that's why a like her, because she proves us that love can do anything, love is peace, love is forgivable, love can change even the most evil person, even to this day, Elfen Lied chapter 13 "No return" is still one of my favorite Anime chapters of all time.

6.- Konata Izumi from Lucky Star

If i had done this list 6 months ago, she would have been in number 4 perhaps, now she is number 6, but still she is one of my favorites, she is from a four panel manga, weird, i know, and more weird, how can a four panel manga, became in a full Anime series? i mean, you can barely told a story or develop a character in this kind of mangas, so how can you told a story, anyway, i recommend this Anime to anyone who wants a different type of Anime.

The main character of Lucky Star is Konata or Kona-chan, she is a high school girl, but she is also the very representation of an otaku, you know, she loves Anime and Manga, besides she is a Gamer, so, what else she does? well, just that, yep, is just that, boring? not at all, specially when she is so funny, i mean, is not like her jokes make you laugh, its more like her jokes put a smile on your face, she makes reference to Anime and Manga to her daily life, basically that's her charm, make no mistake, she is a very likeable character, i dont know why, but as long as the Anime goes on, you became attached to her, from her usual jokes, to compare her friends to certain Anime characters, to her job in the cosplay cafe, etc, she is so easy going, and she has those little details (like her dislike for baseball because the TV dont pass Anime when baseball takes too long to finish) that only make her memorable, the Anime has only around 23 chapters, and still she has a big fan base, really big fan base.

Her designs is excellent, first of all, she is cute, but cute in a weird way, she may not look pretty or real or anything, but still she looks cute, her face, her hair, her costumes, she has an awesome design, and most important, and i think this is very important, her Seiyu is Aya Hirano, and she does a hell of a job, because her Konata voice is so distinctive, you have to listen it to appreciate it, overall, i really like Konata because her design, voice and personality, is the full packet, then again, as much as i like her, she is not my favorite one, she is only in the six position.
