With DVDs of old and new TV series endlessly line up the aisles of video outlets, I feel confident that I don't need to watch on the tube weekly or wait for a couple of years after being shown here. I live in a suburb in Quezon City, Philippines. The Philippines has their own good shows on the telly but series from the US has been abundantly shown here either dubbed in the local languange or left as is.

When 24 was shown here it was in cable tv and was two seasons lagging from abroad. It was also cut in two bit in pieces by a local tv channel dubbed and edited. So what did I do watched on DVD with additional special features. I was also watching reruns of Charlie's Angels, Cheers, and some MacGyver (which is a cult favorite here). I am confident enough to save to be able to get those DVD goodies just waiting to be reviewed and rewatched again and again.

Hi, I am living in Quezon City for the next 9 months and went to SM North Edsa to see if I could find dvds bc I don't have a tv or cable where I'm staying. However, none of the music stores or SM carried dvds of tv shows. Do you mind recommending some places where I could buy them? (I particularly looking for things like nip/tuck, the office, etc)

thanks!
