Hello everybody! How is everyone doing this week? I am doing great because I ordered NCIS seasons 3 and 4 online and I got them yesterday. I have seen most of the episodes but I really like watching with no commercials and I really love listening to the commentaries. especially the ones with Michael Weatherly and Pauley Perrette. They are my two favorite characters.

Two weeks ago Royal Pains premiered on USA. How many of you have seen it? I have only seen the premiere, but I thought it was a pretty good show. I also watched the first two episodes of this season of Burn Notice and I am happy that I have some new episodes to look forward to. I have also been watching the Closer and In Plain Sight. I am really glad that there are so many good summer shows on. I am really eager to watch Psych, but it doesn't start until August .

For Christmas, we got my Dad all seven season of West Wing, and we have slowly been making our way through the DVDs. We have gotten to the beginning of season 4. Still a long way to go. Watching an entire series on DVD is kind of fun. We can fit usually 2 or 3 in one night, and there are no commercials. I only watched the last season of West Wing, so all these episodes are brand new for me.

I hope you guys are having a good summer. Mine has been good. I have around 75 or 100 books, and I am hoping to read them all this summer since my job search was unsuccessful. I have finished about half of them, so I am making good progress. I hope everyone is having a great week

osdawaya16: I agree, they are good! Season 1 of Burn Notice is on sale (only $12 at Walmart) so I might go buy it soon so I can catch up. I am already looking forward to Thursday

It's really nice to hear from you, Madison. I really like Psych too but no one picks it up in Canada and we don't get the USA network since, well, since it's Canada. so we have to but the DVDs if we want to see the show. SOP far, we've seen Season 1. We miss Monk that way too. A local station picked up Monk Season 7 and the third episode was aired last night. My wife stumbled across it by accident and we missed the first one. Oh well, it's better than not having it at all.

I'm glad you got NCIS and are enjoying it. It's fun to get shows we like on DVD, isn't it? I bought Perry Mason Season 4 Volume 1 yesterday. I've seen all but one of the episodes at least twice, but in addition to the no commercial thing, the DVDs feature the full length 52 minute episodes as opposed to the 46 minute syndication versions. The quality is also soooo much better. It's amazing that these shows are over 50 years old!! That's even older than me .

I'm doing well and it's nice to hear that you are too. That's quite an ambitious summer reading list you have, but it's nice to get away from the computer sometimes and just relax, isn't it?

Ey mad, it's been a while! I totally loved and easily got hooked with NCIS. I think I watched all 6 seasons in a month. (And no, I'm not exaggerating). I love love Abby Sciuto! And of course, Tony is one funny agent! I think I even liked this show better than Bones (the two are very similar in treatment) with NCIS having the edge with more interesting cases. I'm trying not to tune in to new shows as they almost always get canceled right away. In Plain Sight is an OK show, something to pass the time. Wow that's a lot of books!! Do you buy all of 'em?? I didn't realize you were such a reader. Anyway, have fun with your reading and TV-viewing this summer! It was nice catching up.

othforeverlove: I hope you're having a good summer too Most of my books are murder mysteries, especially the ones by J.D. Robb and Mary Higgins Clark. They are my two favorite writers

b_m_t: If you enjoy medical shows, and spy shows they are fun shows. Since I love these kinds of shows, they are perfect for me

Macky: I still have not seen every episode but I am close! All I need is the season 5 DVD. Abby and Tony are my favorite characters, and I love listening to Pauley and Michael's commentarys. They are great. I do think NCIS does get better cases. Sometimes with Bones, I am watching, and I forget who got killed, and when they reveal the killer, I can't remember who they are. In Plain Sight is not my favorite show, but it's new, and there's nothing else to watch on Sunday. My mom and I actually go to this book exchange store, and all the paperbacks are only 30 cents each. If I paid more than that, I would probably be broke Hopefully I have enough books and NCIS episodes to get me through the rest of the summer. It was great to catch up with you
