What I really want to say on the matter is that the company just seems to be out for money. They hardly produce games which hold my attention span anymore. If they do produce a game which does they edit it in some way or screw it over so that is horrible.

Lets reflect on the C&C games. The games prior to "Generals" and "Zero Hour" where wonderful pieces of work. Where "Generals" and "Zero Hour" are ok, in their own fashion however do not hold up to the name. EA also removed the key creates of the game, the team was called WestWood, which made a few of the games. The key concepts which they applied in C&C games were wonderful. Where these new C&C games "Generals" and "Zero Hour" are bland and feel like a cheap knock off.

Next on to the Battlefield games. Battlefield 2, I must say is rather good, however Battlefield 2142 look like it should be an expansion pack, not a whole new game. Considering it is using the exact same graphics engine I don't see the reasoning behind making it a new game. The only thing which I can rational from this is that they are only doing it for profit, not to be innovative. Also, I think that they have crossed the line with in game advertising. Yes, their servers have an up keep cost however do not use that as your excuse to justify all of this. The game also collect information when you are playing it, information which had to be stated in an EULA which means that they are trying to cover themselves from being sewed. When it comes down to it, if people do not stop paying for this utter garbage EA will keep producing it.
