"I'm as patience and good natured as the next villain, but this is enough to make me blow my stack!" - The wise words of Dr. Ivo Robotnik
Pretty much what I quoted is what I'm feeling right now. I'm really mad to the point where I want to throw my Xbox 360 out the window. The darn thing decided yesterday that it would RROD once again. I was in the middle of playing some Sonic The Hedgehog 2 and it turned off on me. I didn't know what happened. So I turned it on again and all of a sudden I got the three red lights. I was like oh ****! First I got the E74 error and now I get the RROD? What the heck is up with 360s? Did Microsoft make them this way so they could get there money's worth?
It had to come at the worst time as well! Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is coming out on Tuesday and my 360 doesn't even work right now. Oh well I guess it looks as though I'll have to call Microsoft again and see what they can do. I got a three year warranty on it, but after the E74 error and now the RROD I'm thinking of saving up my money and just getting a PS3 since its cheaper and I've heard it doesn't give you as many problems as the 360 does.
I guess just like with their operating systems its going to take Microsoft a while to figure out how to get things working properly. So in the meantime I guess its back to playing some of my older consoles until I can get the stupid thing fixed or unless Microsoft gives me a bunch of flack then I'm just going to give up on 360 for good. Thanks for listening everyone and see you on the boards!

For the record, i've had my ps3 a year longer and not a single fault
PS3 is much better, but I'd get one of the older ps3's that have backward's compatibility (I have one)
I'm not exactly sure about the wii, the wii doesn't break cause it does not use as much power as an xbox or ps3 but maintains a better market since the seniors, and the young buy it. The wii is also cheap, the online gaming is free. But the wii has no games I'm interested in unless there is SSBB or Legend of Zelda.
Currently I'm playing on my PS3 and I'm enjoying the backward's compatibility, I'm playing devil summoner 2 on it. The PS3 plays devil summoner 2 fine. I've had the PS3 for about 2 years I thinka and I've played it constantly, unlike the wi, and xbox360 I haven't had any probles with it, and even consider the thought that an HD player comes witht he PS3. The PS3 has so much more hardware and software then microsoft and still stands out longer then the xbox. Also the PS3 can upload music, videos, pictures, and you can go on the internet plus some other free stuff plus you can connect your psp to the PS3 and download some major stuff.
But The wii is my second choice to buy i I couldn't afford the PS3 (i I could)
That is what I hate about consoles now a days. They are all cheap except for Nintendo. Apparently only Nintendo knows how to make consoles that don't break when you touch them. However, the only down side to the PS3 is how much it costs to repair when it does break.
I hope you get your 360 fixed.
so u have gta4 disc problems on 360 too, i thought i was the only one, my disc is not even scratched but it freezes when i try to play it on 360 -_-

Too bad Mac, but you can always have some fun with other of your consoles there.
Be sure to advice if you will get the PS3
