its hard to get excited for preseason football, the first string barley plays, games don't count, and everyone who matters is at half speed cause they don't want to get hurt. i got a sense of excitement when the hall of fame game was on yesterday, almost like a child after thanksgiving knowing that christmas is about a month away. the steelers played the saints and it was an ok game, big ben had a long pass for 50 yards and some 4th stringer mutilated another 4th stringer in the last quarter of the game. besides the game its self the first preseason game means fantasy football draft parties, checking out your team everyday to anticipate the season, and everyone will be getting ready for another great year of football.
