• For categories 7&8 - please follow this format:

• Two-part or three-part episodes may be considered as one episode. (ex. Lost finale/Scrubs finale)
• Chuck and Desperate Housewives are comedies. Castle falls under Drama.

BREAKING NEWS!!!: MACK TRACKS BACK MACK!! TWEET, TWEET!!
Wait!! before I proceed with the Memmys, I would just like to say Allison Mack's following me on Twitter!! Of course, I followed her first. But NEVER in my wildest (sometimes perverse) dreams have I thought that one of my most favorite TV celebrities would follow me back. (Background: I opened a Twitter account a week ago mainly to stalk, I mean follow my favorite actors esp. the ones whose guides I handle on this site. I once edited Mack's guide too.) I'm following about 40 now. Yeah, Paparazzi much!? And

She even left a message thanking me. No idea what to reply to her. I believe she actually follows back everyone who follows her there.

I know it can be lame, but days like this, it's just awsh!! Another celebrity by the name of Kyle (shoubie) is also a twitter buddy of mine! [I know, Kyle, I should've made that into THE Headline instead of a footnote. My apologies.

Gotcha,... *what's a word that rhymes with 'gotcha'?*... Jeez, I got nothing! It's just like the word 'orange'! Anyway, no winners yet! I was just making sure you check out this blog -- with the mechanics and categories being here and all...

As you well know (unless you're a Memmys virgin), last year, the list of Memmy Award nominees (or memminees, for short) were forced on you, 'cause the Memmys committee last year didn't have even an ounce of decency to consult you, our beloved television addicts, on which shows should make the final list of memminees.

So this year, the Memmy Awards committee (composed mainly of a single individual with multiple personalities) decided to hear your voices (apart from the ones in his head) and account your choices...

For categories 3-6: Nominees can either be a lead star or a supporting actor/actress on the show.

2009 Memmy Special Awards:
• Most Memorable Ensemble Cast Award
- self-explanatory
• In-Memory-Of Character Award (Posthumous) or the Killed-Off Character Award
- for the fictionally departed
• Just Plain Awsh Peepsie Achievement Award
- for the TV personality (actor, actress, writer, creator, etc.) who is just plain awesome! It's the equivalent of the Emmy Award for Lifetime Achievement.

Points System:
1. I'm not good at explaining so I'll just use the sample ballot above.

Most Memorable Drama Series
1) Breaking Bad - 6 pts.
2) Lost - 5 pts.
3) Grey's Anatomy - 4 pts.
4) Supernatural - 3 pts.
5) Dexter - 2 pts.
6) House - 1 pt.

Most Memorable Drama Series:
1) Breaking Bad - 3 pts.
2) Lost - 2 pts.
3) Grey's Anatomy - 1 pt.

If you filled out five, top-ranked show gets 5 pts. If you wrote down just two shows, top-ranked show gets 2 pts. Ya' dig?!

Even if your favorite show is ranked no.1 on your ballot, there is a good chance it still won't make in the final list of nominees since you were too lazy to fill out the ballot.

If you don't want to bother yourself with the points system, just try to fill out all six slots for every category. Trust my math skills to accurately tabulate your ballots.

There's no need to rush! But I really hope you take the time out to fill out your ballots. You have until July 17 (Friday) to send your memminees!

If you have any questions or violent reactions, please post them in the comments section below. If those reactions are too violent and bordering on homicidal, kindly PM them to me.
