Hello, all.
I just posted a new forum thread on the technical support board. I'm quite bummed about the apparently permanent loss of the "comments" line on the blog part of my home page.
It's so much more convenient to have that notice when there are new comments without having to open the blog itself. ![]()
If you are also missing this feature, please go post on my forum. I know resistance is almost certainly futile, and yet I find that hope springs eternal in the feline bre@st.
And speaking of felines, for those of you who couldn't care less about the comments line on blogs, here are a few funny pics I found on the internet:
This is just wrong!
Here birdie birdie ...
It's true that spines are optional for some.

I tried to create a link to it last night in the blog, but wasn't able to get it to work, which is maybe another glitch. I've seen other blogs lately where the author had been unable to get links to work...
Torfer: Lots of cats drink from faucets. I had one once, but only a Siamese would be that crazy!
Jeffery: And that same cat I just told Torfer about used to sit on the side of the sink or bathtub and let his fluffy tail float in the water until it became waterlogged and sank. He never seemed to notice it until he got up to leave!
Dan: According to angelandspike it's Firefox browser-specific. I lost mine at the same time as the "rolling" blog glitch started, so at the time I figured it was part of the same thing.
pikastatic: Safari too, eh? Angeland spike posted on the forum that she had reported the problem to Mozilla. Maybe that will work...
winter: Hi. I use Firefox, but I used to be able to see the line before the rolling glitch and I haven't updated it, but it may have auto-updated and I just didn't pay any attention to it.
DCat: Welcome back, my friend. Thanks for the clarification. It's so strange that these problems seem to be browser-specific. You couldn't get breaks to work? Mine were still working yesterday...
froggys: Everybody can post on the technical forum. It's supposed to be an interface between users like us and staff, although staff rarely weighs in there... I tried the suck-up approach in hopes that it will catch more flies than the usual b*tching approach.
sarasaurus: Thanks. I always enjoy bringing a smile to others.
Jeffery: I have a cousin who is a technical editor for Microsoft and uses a MAC. Microsoft is still evil, I don't care how many millions Bill gives away to charity.
I agree, that kitten needs an intervention.
It never ceases to amaze me at what cats will do.
Same goes for tvdot, it never ceases to amaze me at what little feature(that we like)they will change/disable. They make so user unfriendly here. Oh how I pine for the days when we only had to deal with the old "bugs".
Water: They never really explain anything on this site.
Q: What's the difference between tv.com and the Borg?
Water: Well, there's a surprise!
Helostwin: Hi! A house without cats is just wrong!
Khusraw: I'll get you an emergency shipment right away! LOL
I grow weary bemoaning all of the stuff that's no longer part of what used to be a wonderful respite for tv junkies.
Karl: Hi. I agree; probably not intentional. I just wish they cared.
Hope you're having a nice weekend!
