So I decided to confess my sins (being Catholic and all) and I said the usual i.e. fighting, cursing, direspect my elders, etc., etc., and I also decided to confess that I was gay....And the priest's exact words where "Is that a bad thing?" and when I think about it I guess it really isn't...all he gave me was a short penitance which makes me think why did I confess such a thing in the first place? After that my bros (who also confessed) and I started walking to our cousins house and then they started to talk about what they told the priest and I just closed my eyes and blurted out everything...and again their reaction was acceptance; so I guess I'm just happy that of their acceptance the only issue 1 of my brothers took was "Can we still make gay jokes?" 
I laughed and said yes

Good stuff. My only brother came out a few years ago, and was met with mixed reactions. I didn't care either way, but it was hard for some people to come to terms with. He's doing good now, though. Very successful management aspiree(is that even a word? whatever). So I just have one question: Are you going to add a giant rainbow to your banner? Y'know, to represent your people? Kudos, brave one.

Well done, I'm really happy for you. It's always a big step when you "come out". A friend of mine has stayed in it for years now, because he's afraid of coming out. I still haven't "officially" done it, though I've always thought that I've never really been in the closet, since I've dated anyone I like since the day one, and everyone seems to know about my sexuality.

Indeed, that's how I've always felt about these things. Your brothers are really cool for taking it that way btw. My brothers are always trying to make me more "manly" by taking me to their hunting trips and stuff, even though I could easily kick their asses every day of the week.
