Or, there are holes in the walls...

So, we're in the midst (good word) of a huge plumbing project which means that we have very large gaping holes in all of the walls and ceilings of our apartment. I'm finding this extremely disconcerting. I know the walls aren't really *solid* but I like to pretend they are. Now that everything is all exposed and I have flakes of plaster everywhere...I know better.

Hmmmm... I guess delusions are nice sometimes.

Hey Lyght! Long time, no talk! Sorry about the holes, but at least the plumbing will be better!

ABBY (I think) -

Saw your answers to the google quiz. You should turn them into a blog... I thought they were pretty good.

I'm a friend of a friend (again, I think).

When you're young the whole world seems solid, and as you get older you discover it's more and more fragile, and you become more and more scared.

Fortunately our walls are brick, even the partition ones. But we don't have proper floorboards, and what we do have is starting to break leaving very "springy" floor patches, that eventually, one feels, will snap. And the stairs are saggy too.
