Lately i've been playing a lot of Street Fighter IV. I'm no pro, but i'm also no noob. I get my a** handed to me sometimes and other times i'm the one kicking a****.
When i'm getting a good beating and i realize my opponent is better than me, i play with him until i get tired of losing. It can take eight matches or three matches for me to quit, it depends on my mood. I also see a beating from a better player as a chance to learn a few things. When i choose to quit playing with someone, i wait for the match to end, to go to the lobby, and only then i leave the game. One of the things i have experienced a lot lately is seeing some of my opponents disconnect on purpose while the match is still on. Sometimes i'm about to beat them and they just quit, leaving me hanging in disbelief. I'm not the kind of guy to send hate messages, but sometimes i get so p***** off that i wonder why i don't do it. It annoys me lot and i wonder why people do it. Yes, i know it gets frustrating to lose many times, but at least people should show a little fair play and quit in the proper moment.
Disconnecters is also a problem in Mortal Kombat 2, even more so since it's easier to quit the game. I just love it when some guys disconnect in the moment i'm about to finish them with a fatality.![]()
Rant over. See you guys around.![]()

Hehe, but seriously. I hardly have that happen to me, probably because I never play online except when it's with people I know.
I hate playing with random internet people, but I have done it. And I have had a bunch of people quit on me relatively. Used to happen a lot when I got good at Red Alert 2 and Guitar hero III. But yeah I agree. It's a good way to meet new playing buddies though if you destroy somebody and they don't give up and you feel them getting a bit better add them to your freaking buddy list. I've added a couple like that, those are real gamers. P.s. Maikedi, nobody believes you. You suck at games. If people do quit mid game it's because you're too easy and it's boring.
Maikedi: We need to play. I want to see how good you are.
Tombo: Funny enough, last night i was playing this one guy in SFIV that was obviously a newbie, but he kept fighting me even though i was beating him all the time. Towards the end i went even easier on him and let him win the last match. After that he sent me a friend request and i accepted. He turns out to be a really nice guy.
naughty: Yeah, it was really great fun. We should do it again soon.
dragon: I think it's equally bad. Only thing worst i can remember is being kicked out of a game for no apparent reason.
There is always someone that doesn't like to loose
