So by now everyone in the Gamespot community knows about Jeff being laid off supposedly because he gave the game 'Kane and Lynch: Dead man' a bad review who is published by Eidos who where paying Gamepot big money for over the top advertising. They weren't happy with Jeff's review so they supposedly pulled the plug on there advertising campaign and the amount they were paying them with it too. So Gamespot owners, Cnet weren't happy and then before you now it Jeff Gerstsmann, the Editorial Director had lost his Job.
So this is how you destroy an AWESOME web site (including a supportive community and reliable coverage of games, reviews, news, videos, features and the list goes on) in three easy steps:
1. Be more worried about companies advertising on you site for big money than the community that holds your website together. So now that they tried to keep Eidos happy they have enraged the entire community that if it weren't for the entire site ABSERLOOTLY nothing.
2. Lay off the Editorial Director who is an extremely popular internet and games Personality. Jeff has been with Gamespot before it was even called Gamespot. With out him the site would be nothing but another mediocre site with no flare or personality. After 10 years of loyal service to Gamespot he is left with a cardboard box to pack his stuff into. As far as I am concerned he has bean betrayed over one of the lamest reason ever.
3. Ignore your community. Instead of listening to the community that adores Jeff and didn't have a problem with his review of Kane and Lynch, Gamespot listened to their overpowering owners Cnet that was too busy thinking of their profits than anything else.
So Gamespot, you have lost yet another User because of your betrail of your caring and supporing community for you money hungery morals.
So goodbye Gamespot.

so yesterday, the 10th of november, i wanted to buy GH3 because it was on sale at a unrefusable price of $100 istead of the RRP of $160. it was on sale a Big-W (a shop very similar to Target) which opens at 8:30. I needed to be some where else by 9:00 so i thought that if i get there 5 minutes early i could grab it and go. simple as that.
when i turned up there was probobly 50 people there lining up outside the store. i thought it was quite funny at the time because i didnt think that they ALL wanted GH3 as well as a $160 PS2. as soon as the doors opened up people started running towards the back of the store where the electronics department is. People where fighting over getting there copies but luckily i by passed that by takinga copyout of the big boxes that the staff where pulling them out of and took it to one of the front cash registers isntead the bussy ones in the electricle department.
