4 celebs in one week. The biggest being M.J. I actually don't feel sady or anything. i'm more so annoyed at people crying over him as if he was family. Maybe I'm too cold. Anywho...
So this week Mark of the Wolves came out for xbox live and without warning. Next week Blazblue hits store shelves. Then there's KOFXII. I'm going to go broke buying all of these fighters.
Then there's Ghostbuster's, Infamous, prototype, Ninja Gaiden sigma 2, Modern Warfare 2, Madden 10, nba 2k10, and I can go on. looks like the savings account will be emptied.
Too many games.
If you haven't noticed I don't really blog anymore. I just place my opinion here and there and lookie there a slew of mods kicking my tail. Why because I ask questions. I promise, these mods have nothing better to do than pay attention to what I say. Jerks!
Anyway I didn't decide to write about that, although I should. My beef is with the recent Gamespot Ratings. I don't know, maybe it's me but these new critics are garbage. It's been like this for almost 2 years now. So now I have 2 things to complain about the mods and the critics. Rag Doll Kung Fu gets a 5.0 but those who have it give it an average of 7 - 7.5. It's a fun game. Sonic got something obsurred last year. Yes it was a crap game but did it deserve a 3 or whatever?
All that I ask is that gamespot get back to rating games as they should be seen, games. All this technical jargon is garbage. Although the rating for Lair was on the spot before its patch, most of the time the ratings they give are either biased, based on name or developer,or just wrong. They're looking to much into the technical side of a simple game like ragdoll kung fu instead of the fun factor.
It's gotten so bad that I don't even look to gs for review scores anymore. It's just an online social hub now.
IGN, gamespot, and other gamer websites did their previews with LAIR and not one time did they complain about it. All of a sudden the game comes out and they bash the crap out of it. It doesn't make sense how they can preview the game and give it praises but then destroy it with abysmal ratings. I'm just saying you should think about that.
