This week I've been really slow watching my regular shows (LOST, Heroes, Skins, Dollhouse) but I've finally seen them all and it was quite an impressive week of television. In between catching up on school work and this week's aired episodes, I've been watching Veronica Mars (Season One) which I recently picked up on DVD. I have only seen the odd episode every so often - and that was years ago, so it has been great to watch the season in its entirety.

Back to basics! I see many flashbacks and character moments ahead. The Oceanic Six have returned to the island (though are Sun, Sayid, Ben, etc in a completely different time period?). This question raised many questions, which really got me thinking more about Lost than ever. While I love the answers and I want the show to conclude, Lost is still very much about mystery - so I can't wait to find out how the Oceanic Six all ended up on the same plane under those mysterious circumstances.

A very rewarding episode. I'm finding myself liking Jack again after a few years of really disliking him as he is becoming a man of faith. Though I've loved the last few episodes, I'm really looking forward to seeing some more flashbacks and seeing all of the cast together again - at last.

VERONICA MARS

I forgot just how awesome this show was. Kristen Bell plays the role of Veronica Mars perfectly, and she must be the coolest character on television without a doubt. I miss watching this show when I was 13-14 (though Australian TV never really gave it a stable timeslot), and it used to always be compared to The OC. I must say, this show is 100 times better than The OC. Kristen Bell makes this show, and Veronica's relationship with her father and Logan really stand out. I can't wait to finish the first season (I'm nearly there)...
