The Economist

Hey guys! I know i am late for my weekly blog entry but i could not post it on Saturday since i was away! Excuse me for not commenting to your blogs. I hope you had a great weekend!

I've watched "The economist" ,Lost's newest episode and it was once again wonderful! Season 4 has not disappointed me!It's maybe the strongest season of lost yet! If you want to ready my review/summary is here:


Sayid's flashforward was so interesting and mysterious since we see that he follows orders from someone we don't know yet. But from who and why? He kills people who "stand on his way" and he searches for The economist,the rival who is behind from all these.
On the island Sayid,Kate and Miles go to the barracks to find Locke and the rest in order to negotiate about Charlotte since Sayid made a deal with Frank to go bring her back. There, Locke's team fool them and captures them by setting Hurley as the "bait". Kate is with Sawyer where he ask her to stay with him on the island since their lives outside won't be pleasant. Miles is taken away somewhere while Sayid meets Ben. At last, Sayid and Locke come to an agreement and Charlotte goes back with Sayid while Kate and Miles stay behind for unknown reasons.
Meanwhile Dan makes an experiment when he communicates with the freighter and discovers that the time on the island runs 31 minutes slower than off the island.
When Sayid returns with Charlotte, Juliet brings Desmond with her back from the beach. Afterwards, Frank,Sayid,Desmond and Naomi's dead body departure with the helicopter for the freighter.
Finally, in Sayid's flashforward we surprisingly discover that the man he was taking orders from is... BEN!

I am sure that the next episode "Eggtown" (What a strange title!) will be excellent since if am not mistaken it will be Kate-centric(but i am not sure so pls DON'T tell me if you know)!

oh.. hard pool this time.. both of those episodes.. Sayid centric... I think somehow I loved Enter 77 more... that house and all there.. it was great episode.. not that Economist was not.. it was too

Hey glad you have posted it The Economist was great I usually like Saayid episodes and this one was good, it was great seeing Sayid killing people hes crazy, the last scene was awesome when the got off the island and the last flashforward was even better tough question I would have to go with the Economist

efc1991: glad you read it indeed,the economist was a great episode,Sayid is a very important character. i loved the last scene too!

Enter 77 was way better...so much drama on and off the island in Enter 77, and too many characters acting uncharacteristically in The Economist. (Really, Hurley? Really?) I still can't wait to see what happens this week, though....

Hey, yea i vote for the economist, it was just simple the best one so far into the series especially the ending omg! Before i saw Ben's face i was like hmm i recognise this voice then bang! its Ben. Was great and can't wait for the next episode.

I think Desmond will die soon he wont go back the island but he wont go home aswell, he will die on the frieghter that is my opinion although I don't want it to happen I can see it happen

Sorry I have made you worry about one of your favourite characters haven't I, It's just my opinion he will probably be ok, he is an important character, but I know someone will die in the first 8 episodes I can sense it

That episode was pretty darn good. especially the ending.. Didn't see that coming..

The economist was a good episode. In my opinion, The economis is a better episodes than enter 77. Eggtown *flashback to when I was at lost-forum.com reading on what the episode might be about* I think I know why it is called eggtown.

I vote the Economist. Season 4 has blown me away so far, it's so great and I love the idea that the focus has shifted to off the island. I hope Eggtown is good, and if it's going to be Kate centric, I hope it's a flashforward.

a buddy of mine replied to my Lost blog that he thinks Ben manipulated or coerced Sayid to work for him possibly. I still hope that if they get back hom in the last episode they have one more flash foward were Sayid and Ben get killed, but that's just something I would like to see. Or Sayid kills Ben, because Sayid was started to turn into a likeable character. Read my blog on here and myspace.

Nice blog! I have to vote for The Economist for a favorite. It was amazing. Great to see Sayid like that and I think it just proves, to me at least, that Sayid is working for him because Ben IS "one of the good guys" like he keeps trying to say, even though his track record isn't very good. So I don't think Sayid was tricked into working for him. But we'll see. I loved the episode, and have been very impressed with this season overall!
