I do not believe K&L was the ONLY reason why Jeff was fired but i strongly believe the way Jeff run the boat with hard core heart felt reviews is over and the only way they had to do that iwas to cut the head of this great team.

Jeff was real hard on games, he gave Zelda an 8.8, thing, that nobody had the courage to do.

He wrote what he felt and now that Mario Galaxies came out one can really appreciate his view...if Zeldadeserved a9 and higer WTH does Galaxies deserve? I believe he wanted for Zelda (a franchise he loves since he game OoT a 10 the same level of innovation SMG has now...was that wrong?

He is an hard core gamer first and a reviewer later and in the era of casual gaming this is probably not what they want, this is not what makes them money, in the era of friggin Cooking Mama selling 1 mil copies we, the gaming community, are not as relevant...We , as Jeff Gerstmann, are the past.
