Recently (this morning to be exact) I went out to go wait in some form of line for 4 and a half hours until the store opened at 10. So upon arriving at 5:30am there was already a line formed. A line consisting of 15 people for the 15 consoles arriving. Dissapointed, I left. -,- My other "adventures" in getting a Wii involve, waking up at 5 am on black friday to wait in front of a target that didnt have any, calling everymorning for the next 5 days and heading out to "check", getting offered to buy a ticket off of some random guy for 150 dollars that would allow me to buy a Wii. And most importantly, waiting outside a Best Buy on launch day, just to be the 5th person behind the last person to get a Wii.
My Wii-Antics though have raged on. From explaining the huge amount of possibilties of the Wii to a microsoft driven friend and a playstation driven friend, to buying the Wii-mote and Nunchuk (and LOZ twilight princess ) before obtaining the console. Did I mention that I hate ebay for not making a console availble for purchase that is under 350!? Even though its not Ebay's fault... I still blame it.
So, apparently I have heard that my city will become more "saturated" with Wii's within the next week or so... ( I hope its true ) So I'm hoping that maybe I will get one before christmas... Not trying to be too hopeful. So I gotta say to all you Wii Fans out there, If you dont get a Wii before christmas, I feel sorry for you, and that it's your own fault for not going that half hour earlier or spending those extra $50 to purchase one. And that until you get one, you should spend your time playing Halo on your computer or Gears of War with your friend who actually owns a 360.
