Now I'm depressed. The First Lady Of Trek and my favorite intergalactic Auntie Mame passed at 12:27 this morning from leukemia. My condolences go to her family and I remember all too well what a sad holiday season it was for Trek fans in 1991 when Gene passed, doubly so now. You will be missed, Majel.

It really irked me that none of the major media, including websites like AOL and Yahoo, made any mention of her death all day long. As I write this, Yahoo has just now posted an obituary, almost 24 hours after this happened. I didn't even see any front page news on this site about it as well. Only way I found out about it was through my subscription to the Roddenberry.com newsletter, The Transmitter, which I didn't open until this evening, thinking it was probably just another announcement about fan activities/site sales/etc. Do you recall any major television network mentioning this at all on the 18th?

I discovered only recently as I was at my parents' when it happened with little internet time
