"pearl necklace"...like the song or what? "she wore a pearl necklace/a pearl necklace" now the song dident specify what kind of pearl necklace she wore, but i bet it's something you'd see at the peep show in the xxx store. ewww. sorry, dirty mind.

Most of the Detective covers from about 815-838 were done in this style, with the black and white -I think the artist was Tim Bradstreet, he usually works in that format best, will need to check though. Speaking of classic influence, reminds me where I need you to see some more of Steranko's work, especially a DaVinci homage on Captain America #113, you will flip over it.

Ahh, back when ZZ Top was worth listening to. Actually, one of the worst concerts I ever went to in my life was one of theirs in '97. You could really tell they jumped the shark when bikers in the audience were booing them. Maybe Veronica might get her wish after all, when she shows Archie how she's got "Legs" and knows how to use them, after he gets that "Sleeping Bag" out of that jalopy.

i've never heard any stories about zz top in concert, but i know they did come down one year and havent returned. thier main fan base booed them? why? they shaved the beards or wht? or maybe veronica goes crazy for sharped dressed man or trollop teenager.
