It's been a while guys. I had a long summer where I was working almost everyday from 9am - 10:30pm but at the end of the summer I treated myself to a new Macbook Pro and the new iPod Nano.
. The laptop I had before was garbage, and thankfully I was able to sell it off for $350, since it was 5 years old and didn't have much power.
I had an office job AND and waiter job at night. The office job was cool, I was just sitting at a desk doing what my manager told me to do. I got a good bit of experience because the work was in Marketing and that's what I want to do. The night job was fun at times but stressful at other times, and most nights it was really busy.
I also got my driver's license over the summer before my 20th birthday, which was an EPIC WIN for me.The driving age is 18 in Bermuda but I didn't want a driver's license right away so I waited a bit. My birthday was fun too, I went jetskiing with two of my buddies and then went back to my house for lunch. Some more friends came over and we played Rock Band 2 and Mario Kart. We had a BBQ later and then had some nice cake. Now I'm back to school studying Commerce and will be going on an internship in January in Bermuda, where I can work for 4 months while still being enrolled in school. It's kinda like a vacation except you still have school work to do and then you come back to school for the summer and do classes.
Also, I've started listening to a lot of Sabrepulse, a great 8-bit music group, who uses a modded gameboy to make music. How amazing is that? If you'd like some songs I can send you some. They are great and make some of the best 8-bit songs I've ever heard.
Gamewise, Wii has become even more successful than I hoped when it first came out in 2006. Dead Space and Resident Evil are shaping up well and the mature games market is pretty much at home on the Wii. No, the Wii isn't just for kids but most of you guys already know that.
Go Nintendo, youda youda best, youda youda best. ![]()
I still game but not too much. I gamed a lot over the summer and played Wario Land, an instant Wii classic, Mario Kart Wii, Fire Emblem Wii and Super Paper Mario (a pretty good buy). There are a ton of Wii games I am planning on getting but right now I'm looking at Metroid Prime Trilogy (I can't wait to get the art books and stuff), Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat, New Super Mario for Wii (
) and Wii Fit Plus (maybe around Christmas so I can keep in shape when I'm home for my internship). I'm also looking forward to Sin and Punishment 2, Crystal Bearers (jumped pretty high up my list since E3 and TGS), Klonoa (I need to buy it at a cheap price) and No More Heroes. I may get MadWorld some day but there's so much blood. Can't wait and i need more income!
That's all I have to say about me.

There's a new Tales of Graces trailer you should check out, it unveils a lot of the story and introduces a few other characters too. I think it looks great and the quality of the game is a few steps up from Tales of Symphonia 2. I'm expecting it to have a pretty long story.
I don't know when I'll write another blog but I just wanted to keep people up to date after the long summer. Take care.

I just wish they gave him a super form, like Super Tails, that made him look even more intense. What are the chances?
Thanks, the work wasn't too bad this summer but I'm sorta glad to be back in university. I doubt Tales of Graces is only for Japan. XSEED will probably bring it stateside sometime next year like they've done with other titles. We'll see though. It looks better than some of the other "Tales of ...' games.
Jetskiing is a lot of fun. It's pretty much a snowmobile on water. You can do slick turns, hit waves if you want and go pretty fast. I went twice during the summer and the second time it was even better. Work, school, work... Story of my life really. I don't mind it much. School is great cuz I'm with my friends and there's so much more to do on campus but working I get money and have a glimpse of how things will be when I graduate and I'm working full time. I'm pretty glad I have the license because it feels great to be able to drive myself places now, without me having to ask my parents.
Naa, I can't have my own car unless I live an apartment or unless one of my parents is a doctor. There's some law in Bermuda saying 1 car per household, unless you're a doctor or have a registered apartment unit on the side of your house. Cars are pretty expensive back home though so I just catch the bus. There isn't much space in my yard anyway for another car. On the bright side, the family car is a sorta big SUV. Ever seen a KIA Sportage? We have one of those and those things have power, but guzzle gas like nobody's business. Do you have your own car?
And no, I don't have one, I walk everywhere.
I guess because doctors have to do split-shifts at times and if they have a spouse who needs one car and they need the car when the other is in use then it's allowed. Don't quote me on that though because I'm not really sure.
