These past few weeks have been overwhelming game-wise. I went from having a short list of games I'd buy for Wii to a much much larger list all because of Nintendo's conference. Klonoa, Valhalla Knights, No More Heroes 2, Monter Hunter 3 and many other have been added only since recently. It's kinda too much for me to keep up with now, no joke. I'm not going to buy a huge amount of games but now i'll only be able to pick the best of the best or wait a few years and pick up some other titles when they're cheaper. I don't get how people can complain but at the same time I know why some people only get the 'hardcore' titles. They don't have the cash to buy all those games. If I bought all the games on my list now I'd be paying at least $400 just on games. I'm also kinda moving away from overhyped or overly-complicated games because I just don't have the time anymore.
Game news still interests me but I don't really have the money to buy all these great games and hardly have the time either. Most of the games I already have for Wii take a lot of time to beat and some games I'm not even close to beating, and now there are more games on the horizon. What am I gonna do?!?!? I'm glad I only have 1 console because I don't know what I'd do if I had 2.
Gaming now is a luxury for me and not really a habit as when I was 16 (I'm 19 now) and now the videogame market is becoming overly-saturated with games that many people will / may become broke to. Some remakes, some greatly developed games, minigames and all other genres. I'll only be picking up some must-have titles for a while, 1 RPG (either Arc Rise Fantasia, Rune Factory: Frontier or Tales of Symphonia, just because RPGs are so long) and probably some simple platformers like Wario Land with Wii Fit, Disaster (when it comes), Mario Kart and a few downloadable classics from yesteryear. Gaming is getting too expensive for me to play all these new games. Hope you guys can keep up because it's getting harder than ever.
This is the best thing I've heard in a long time, and it came bundled with news of a cross-platform Crystal Chronicles game for Wii and DS, plus Valhalla Knights (another RPG).
Klonoa has been one of my favorite games of all time. I played it at someone's house and I just loved the music, sound and characters. This game will be an uber enhanced remake of the first game, which many people haven't played on PS1, and so far it's scheduled for Japanese Wiis only. I really hope someone brings it to the US, like Namco Bandai, Marvelous or XSEED. I haven't written a blog post in a while but this story is definitely worthy of a new post.
The Wii is looking better already and many people pocket books will feel it. Maybe Nintendo can save America's economy.
These are just the titles I will probably be getting when they come out.
- The Conduit
- Klonoa (if it comes to the US)
- Muramasa
- Arc Rise Fantasia
- Fragile
- Kirby Wii
- Tenchu 4
- Sin and Punishment 2 (this game finally comes to the US)
- Star Fox Wii
- Kid Icarus (if it's coming)
- Disaster
- Sadness
- MadWorld
- Rune Factory: Frontier (Looks amazing and is a Farming and Fighting RPG!!)
- Renegade Kid's Mystery Title (either Dracula or Van Helsing related)
- Kizuna (new action RPG title coming up)
- Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers
Maybes
- House of The Dead: Overkill
- Death Mountain
- Little King Story
- Dead Rising
That's all so far I guess, unless I'm forgetting some, but there are a ton. I still don't see how people complain of Wii's lineup. These are all games I'd pick up.
