Even though it only took me 4 or 5 play sessions to complete Heavy Rain it was a great experience. I think rather than try to play through it again right away I'll come back to it in six months so I can enjoy the story all over again. Only Ethan and Scott survived in my story but the ending saw a very fitting end for the origami killer.
I'm extremely excited for FFXIII next week. I wasn't a big fan of FFXII due to the combat and the hard time I had attaching myself to the characters. What I've read from previews of FFXIII has me excited with the change in combat as well as a linear approach to the first part of the game and then having it open up for the second part. I decided to get the game on the Xbox 360 even though there maybe some slight quality issue with the graphics from things I've read. I'm to the point now where I'm pretty much only getting console exclusives for the PS3 and playing everything else on the 360.
In the meantime I'm playing through Resident Evil 5 again and enjoying the new downloadable content. On my second playing of RE5 I realized how much I liked the game.
So my previous entry shows how excited I was for the PSP. Well it is now just sitting on my shelf collecting dust. I am really disgusted at the lack of games for it. So far I've only been impressed with Daxter and Wipeout Pure. Everything else has been just awful. I can't believe I wasted money on Prince of Persia. It is so bad it is almost unplayable. If I don't hear some good news at E3 about PSP games coming out, I think my PSP will need to find a new home.
I'm very glad, however, that I picked up a Nintendo DS. I'm enjoying Mario Kart, Metroid, CastleVania, etc. and I'm looking forward to Zelda, the new Super Mario Bros, etc. I think somewhere deep down inside I'm just a Nintendo Fanboy. If only Nintendo systems would have the RPGs I like to play I wouldn't need to get a PS3 along with the Revolution...
To prepare for the arrival of the PSP I recently ordered a 512MB stick from amazon.com for the great price of $62.99 with free shipping! By far the best deal I've seen so far on the Internet. I'll be broke when this thing comes out but it will be worth it!
I'm playing KOTOR II to pass the time and it is a blast! I just reached Dxun (just right after Telos) and I'm about 15 hours into the game. I can tell I'll be in the long haul for this one. While I've noticied some glaring bugs in the game with reguards to missions and problems with the journal system, I think the story is absolutely outstanding. I'm dying to know the whole story behind my exile from the order. If you liked the first KOTOR then you'll absolutely love the second without any doubt.
