A little bit of retail therapy was called for today! So we went to 1104 Mission Avenue, LA right in the shadow of the County Hospital, to the LA Coroner's Office, and found a little gem. Have a look here to see what I mean!

I was fairly conservative, because I went to Ontario Mills yesterday, and there is only soo much that my suitcase can expand!! But there is always space for a memento or two! So I now have a baseball cap that says Coroner!! and a number of other bits and pieces!

I will get some photos of the building sorted out when I get home, but I just had to show you the website straight away!

So I have now visited the Coroner's office which has featured on a number of my favourite shows - particularly The Closer - and the coroner went out in a marked car as we arrived.

And WOW it is hot here - I think 108ºF was the highest I noticed, but could have been higher. That's my excuse for shopping - I needed the air-conditioning!!!
