Welcome to 2009! Wow 08 was a hell of a year what with political scandals and all those banks going under. Let's hope that 2009 will be a year of national rebirth. One downside another year closer to 2012, the end of the world.

The Presidental election is just days away, I'd like to take the time to remind others out there that even though the ballots are secret, you better vote for Barak Obama! If you chicken out or hate him just because he's black or his name is Barak Obama (that sounds like Osama!!!!!). I just hope that morons like you are to close minded and stupid to know how to leave your homes and go to the polls!

A while back (I can't remember the date) a Hollywood studio decided to make a movie based around the popular "Super Mario" games. If you've played Mario's zillion adventures you know what they are about. Mario (and Luigi his brother sometimes) are tasked with rescuing Princess Peach of the Mushroom kingdom from the evil turtle dragon Bowser the Koopa King. The world in colorful and green. But what we got from Hollywood was a parallel reality where dinosaurs evolved into human like beings lead by Koopa who was not the dragon we know but rather an evolved tyranosaurus. And Luigi getting the girl what was that about?

Getting back to topic, I recently read on MovieTome that a Guitar Hero movie is in the works. And I said that I would much rather see a Zelda movie first seeing as Zelda has a plot (many in fact) as to base a movie upon. IGN early this year showcased a "Trailer" for a Zelda movie (that was later shown to be an April Fools gag). But the storyline intrigued me and I got to thinking that it could work, they melded plot points from the (in my opinion) two best Zelda Games Twilight Princess (see banner above) and Ocarina of Time. I mean if they do decide to do a Zelda movie I hope that they do it right. Get a writer who KNOWS the games and choose a director who is well versed in Fantasy films (Jackson, Del Toro) and cast unknowns in the lead parts I don't want to see Leo Decaprio as Link rescuing Kate Hudson as Zelda from Robert Denerio as Ganondorf.

Please heed my warnings to you Hollywood. Mess with the games that I love and you will pay dearly!!!!!!
