After the release of "28 Days Later", zombies tend to have a new spark. I thought the acting was decent here. The special effects were respectable. The storyline fit the genre, but wasn't duplicating everything from its past. The vegan zombie brought some humor and a different direction to the movie as well other scenes such as zombie soldiers shooting back. Since this isn't an original such as the movie previously mentioned, I won't give it a higher score. The story also was original enough to not use the remake title. Having Ving and the title draw in the crowd?

Bill will not get an academy award any time soon. I will admit that I have not seen much of his acting, but have seen several of his stand-up acts that I do enjoy. He is not my favorite in any category however. I have seen Delta Farce at the theater. I have seen Country Fried Home Videos on CMT. I don't think he is acting, but he likely is memorizing script. My point is that he is basically playing himself wearing something different! A great actor is able to play various roles that have very different traits. He really has not done that. I am basically writing this review after seeing several 10's and nothing lower posted. Gimme a break! Get real. (The Dorkfish is about as diverse as he has got!)

I am not the person that should be doing a review of Mira, as you can see by my score. I believe she has been noted more on her looks than talent as an actor. She is at least average in the limited work that I have seen (Mimic and a guest on House). She received an Oscar, Golden Globe and other awards for Mighty Aphrodite (I haven't seen it). She is a veteran actor doing 45 movies and is a producer on two to date. She might not be a favorite, but you cannot deny her mark in the industry.

No horror here, especially by present day standards. I would call this a Suspense movie. It is definitely Sci-Fi. I enjoyed seeing Joyce. This is a B/W film. It fits the wholesomeness of the time. I saw this on TCM and don't regret it, despite the rating. I wouldn't want to put a PG-13 on this one. Kids younger than 10 might get a shock, but could get more scared going to a Haunted House. The acting was fine and not cheesy.
