I use glaryutilities to manage all of my start up items. It's amazing how much memory some of those items take up to load up on a fresh start. After getting rid of some of the crappy start up stuff I rarely use (Adobe I'm looking at you) my computer starts up super fast.

i have all of the things you said but once i turn it on the gatway symbol starts then goes to a blue screen and at the bottom it says press f8 to add any other items (controllers, keyboards, mouse etc.) then if i dont press anything then it says press f2 to start repair mode. I did everything people was able to do without a starting disk once its at the last part it says install windos xp, press f3 to restart the computer or d to create a windos file on a floppy disk. I did all of that then it goes to a screen that says type exit to restart and still nothing.

I don't like the sound of that. If you have another computer, maybe you can hook that hard drive up to it to see if all the files are still present or if anything corrupted. Almost sounds like you might need to format it and reinstall Windows. Never a fun thing to do, especially if you have data on the drive that's not backed up anywhere else.

Yea i tried mostly everything i used my sandisk to put the files that my computer needed to download and all of my music erased and there was 3gb left and all that erased. That was the only way i could continue but i gotta go to best buy and see if they can do something. And i cant find the box with the warrenty. To be honest i wanted to go the cheap route but i gotta pay.
