April Fools! Yep it's that time of year again when pranksters like me are let loose to wreak havoc on unsuspecting citizens lol. I've run the gambit from simple gags like putting spiders in the refridgerator to fake news headlines to more elaborate pranks like the tomato tree. Perhaps one of my favorites is probably one of the most simple - taking a quarter and supergluing it to the pavement and watch as everyone tries to pick it up lol. But it's all in good fun I never do anything that could be considered dangerous or humiliating and I've gotten as good as I've given and in the end we all have a good laugh. So what is the most interesting prank either done to you or that you've done to somebody else on April Fool's day? Or do you just totally ignore it? Either way, have a great one!

Burger King published a full page advertisement in USA Today announcing the introduction of a new item to their menu: a "Left-Handed Whopper" specially designed for the 32 million left-handed Americans. According to the advertisement, the new whopper included the same ingredients as the original Whopper (lettuce, tomato, hamburger patty, etc.), but all the condiments were rotated 180 degrees for the benefit of their left-handed customers. The following day Burger King issued a follow-up release revealing that although the Left-Handed Whopper was a hoax, thousands of customers had gone into restaurants to request the new sandwich. Simultaneously, according to the press release, "many others requested their own 'right handed' version."

Here was mine today. This is the preface: I work for a State government, and like all state employees, in all states, everywhere...anywhere (oh, wait, did I just go all Hemingway?. Or: Didn't I. Alone. In the rain.)...are budgets tightens by the day as we all hold our breaths wondering and praying that there will be work the next day. Ok, given that. I went into my work this morning and turned in an Overtime slip, telling my bosses boss that my boss cleared extra pay for me today. In addition, on my OT slip, I requsted holiday pay for today. My boss's boss was totally dumbfounded until a couple of my co-workers started to crack-up and then she figured it out. When my boss's boss look a closer look at my OT paperwork, she saw some of the silly things that I put down, like Position = Pawn. I misspelled my own name. And I asked for 1/60th of an hour Overtime. And for holiday pay, I put 'Fictional Holiday'. So when she saw all that, she started to crack-up too.

I like today, but I'm also annoyed! Many of my websites have gone crazy with their joke. Zelda forums have turned in to train forums. What the hell? Zelda turns in to train talk. All topics are about trains now. Oh well, happy jokey day!

My favorite prank is telling someone to say I'm a man after every sentence and I tell a story in sentences about a date with a girl and at the end I say "And she whispers in your ear" They say I'm a man!

Yep I liked that gag about left-handed whoppers b/c I'm lefthanded myself. And yeah I could go for a whopper as well...I'll bring some to the party! I think AFD originated when they changed the layout of the year so that the new year started in January and some people refused to recognize it and so where called April Fools. Lol the glued coin trick is priceless sometimes the simplest gags are the funniest.
