Last night was my first chance to play a Wii. I hooked it up and went through the settings to get everything how I wanted it and this took me about an hour mainly because I have my wireless network secured and had to get the Wii configured to work with my security. After that I set up my Mii (avatar that looks like me for Mii enabled games). Then I put in No More Heros and started going through the tutorials...... I was blown away. I mean WOW there is something so engaging about moving the controls with the game and No More Heros is so "over the top" with its presentation and combat that I was completely taken away. I couldn't stop playing last night or telling my friends today how amazing of an experience it was. I am what you could call a hardcore gamer and not a casual gamer so I have always wondered what my experience would be like with the Wii. I had a good feeling I would like it because the type of games coming out looked great and have received spectacular reviews. Well, I am hugely impressed and can't express enough in words how much fun it is to play the Wii. When you have friends over it is just such an addictive thing and the controls are so intuitive.

I highly recommend getting a Wii even if your a hardcore gamer like myself. Nintendo has really done something special here and I think their plans for world domination are definately a lot closer than we all thought.

Have fun!

It finally happened... I called Gamestop and asked if they had any Wii's and they said YES!!!

I almost had a heart attack. I ran to the store as fast as possible and there they were. I have had a Wii account in the bank for almost a year and now its balance is ZERO. I had to go back to work but I cant wait to rip the box apart and get to it...

I bought Super Smash Brothers Brawl, Metroid, No More Heros, Super Mario Galaxy and pre ordered Mario Cart.

Cant wait...

Have fun!

Well, I just finished Dark Sector and I really enjoyed the game. I was not very impressed with the multi player and just thought the game should have focused on single player more because I lost interest in the game once I finished and tried multi player. The single player story is not very deep but thats ok because throwing the glaive is what its all about.

I couldnt get enough of using the glaive and just stuck with it for most of the game. There were a few hard situations where I had to pull out a 9mm and put a cap in someones ###( you get the point). But beyond the small need for fire arms the glaive pretty much did the job and was a ton of fun to throw. I would like to see Dark Sector expanded upon with another single player campaign. I think this style of play has a lot of potential and is currently unique. This untapped potential could mean a lot of cash to developers but due to the "pray and spray" nature of first person shooters this game needs to be configured for the type of play like a tactical shooter such as any rainbow six game not like halo.

Lots of fun and definately received my dollars worth out of this game.

Have fun!

Some people just don't have opinions. Like life4hire.
life4hire must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could life4hire possibly have for not rating a single film?
