To say that I'm fed up with the fanboys on forums is a tautologous understatement. I understand people wanting to psychologically confirm his/her costly console purchase to minimize buyers remorse but this...is....ridiculous. Let's examine the industry, shall we?
1) All of the consoles offer something different: Nintento (Input), Microsoft (Community), and Sony (hardware).
2) None of the consoles offer all the features the industry has to offer: Nintendo (lacks High-Def gaming with repugnant online interaction), Microsoft (lacks blu-ray Disc and motion controls), and Sony (lacks both strong online community and true motion controls).
3) As Michael Jackson said, "All I want to say is that they don't really care about us!": Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft are not multi-billion dollar companies sans the desire to operate profitably. They don't care if we really love our system or we let it collect dust. Each company only cares that you purchased its system off the shelf and other accessories. This brings me to another point why the manufacturers don't care.
4) Excessive, low-quality, unnecessary, costly Accessories: Why do I need to buy many 360 headsets, camera (all 3), a nun-chuk and a remote, and proprietary hdds? Matter of fact, why can't all systems support external HDDs and let the manufacturers avoid storage issues all-together.
So, incessant defense of an console manufactuere that neither needs it or wants it should stop. It makes me sick.
