Maury Chaykin is a great actor and I have loved him and his characters in every movie and TV show I've ever seen him perform in. My favourite Maury Chaykin role would have to be him in The Nero Wolfe Mysteries, he was so good in that role! I can't believe he did not become a bigger star but it's good to see him still getting a lot of work. As far as movies go he was awesome in Whale Music and The Sweet Hereafter. I don't think there's very many Canadian actors alive today that can match Maury Chaykin for talent.

This hack has to be stopped. Larry the Cable Hack is the least funny "comedian" I have ever seen in my entire life. He's a half-German, Connecticut born knob who wears a tool belt and puts on just about the worst redneck stereotype act anybody's ever done, and somehow people like this? What special breed of wrasslin' fan does it take to find Larry the Cable Mongoloid funny? All his jokes have been told a million times before and they weren't even funny then. Lisa Lampanelli is so over rated. Why is it she is always in those lame celebrity roast shows? I guess it is because they are lame and need lame comedians. Or is it that the shows are lame because she is in them? Anyway she calls herself the Queen of Mean but she really just isn't funny. All she does in insult people. Don't get me wrong, I love to see people get insulted, but she could at least try to be funny when she does it. Like you can't just say Paris Hilton is a slut and be funny.... we all know she's a slut already! Every one of her awful insult jokes makes me groan, they're so predictable and unfunny. She reminds me of one of the many awful Video on Trial judges who just sit there and make obvious statements and think they're funny. I'd like to see her go up against one of the good Video on Trial judges in an insult contest, I bet she would cry.

Ant is the definition of a hack comic. His material is all the type of stuff the average fifth grader can come up with if you give him ten minutes, or it's either heavily "borrowed" from jokes you've heard a hundred times before. The only good joke he had when he was a contestant on the show was the one about gay people participating in sports like boxing (they fight over a purse, etc) which is a joke I've heard before in a slightly different way. How this shrieking hack got to be a judge on a comedy show when he has absolutely no understanding of what comedy is is beyond me. Ant proves more than anything else that Last Comic Standing was a pathetic show that had nothing to do with actually picking funny people.
