Lan parties were so awesome.

I'd have fond memories a few years ago going down to my local town where myself and a bunch of maties would pay a mesely 10 bucks, and for the whole weekend we'd jam ourselves into killing each other, and co-oping killing others all day and night. It never grew old!

Battlefield 1942 on LAN was so awesome.

Playing such games as Warcraft 3, Call of Duty, Counter Strike, Starcraft, Diablo 2 were just the bomb. I remember teaming up with upto 10 mates against another 10 in the place in Battlefield 1942, all with headsets and all, trying to work out how to capture their flags, it is fun as hell! You got someone saying 'what the hell were you doing!' and a scuffle would break out ahhhh it was fun.

This s*** was the bomb!

Back a few years ago, there were LAN places everywhere in my town. If you couldnt get into one place because it was full, you could go down the road and find another - it was basically LAN city! For about a buck you could get in for an hour and for about 10 bucks you could have the entire day! They also had pool tables, bars and arcade games! (Raiden was da s***!) Good times they were ^_^

Warcaft 3: Reign of Chaos - Bloody, awesome co-op game to play with your maties.

Unfortunatly many have closed down due to low business (seems odd) and just the neighbourhood getting a bit too violent. That was a sad day when we showed up the next week to find it closed a turned into a wog cafe (WTF >_>). Now i seems really hard to find one around, although there are a bunch around - you just look around heaps!

So i've gathered my troops (maties) and proposed that we find a LAN place to get back these good old times, we'll stroll the streets like a hussy gang and hunt every single street till we find one! Hopefully we dont get our asses mugged along the way

If you haven't gone to one before, your sooo missing out. Grab a few mates, hell go yourself even! Either way it's a great place to be among fellow gamers havin a cool time, and givin s*** maybe as well for fragging them a lot

BTW - Did yah's see the new Final Fantasy XIII and Versus trailers? AWESOOOOME. I totally think Versus looks better, and i reckon its a resemblement of Final Fantasy VII - I think the main character resembles a darker version of Cloud, and the female looks like Aeris in the face. I thought they were in Love! Beats me what the story will play out XD
