Hi All!

How are we eh? Hope you all are good and healthy gorguzz cats and dogs!

So watz the new newz with me? Well I end up doing my trip to Sydney last weekend and went to the Night In Fantasia Concert on Saturday Night! It was totally AWESOME!!!! They played a bunch of anime and game music with a huuuuge orchestra! My seating was neare the front, about ten rows back. Had a mate with me too.

Special Artists and Composers were there including:

Wataru Hokoyama (Resident Evil 5, AFKIRA)
Chris Velasco (God of War Series)
Masunori Mitsuda (Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross)
Iron Zur (Fallout 3, Prince of Persia)
Kow Otani (Shadow of the Colossus)
Steve Jablonsky (Gears of War 2, Transformers 2)
Go Shiina (Tekken 5, Tales of Legendia)

The Performances were AMAZING!!! Totally wondeful and beautiful. Truly worth going and paying. They had some merchandise which I bought a poster and CD. My favorite performace was when Kow Otani himself played on the piano doing his own pieces of his shadow of the colossus. Also the last encore performance every person on stage put a bandana on and started playing the Metal Gear Solid Theme. TOTALLY EPIC!!!!!!

Here some piccies!

(AWESOME dual shock controller missing from shot)

Haha yeh i got one too! It was really an impulse buy since I was in Harvey Norman looking for a laptop case and asked someone in store whether they had a ps3 slim deal happening here. They said they did and you had a choice of any game free with it, so yeah that snagged me up lol! (that was InFamous btw)

Three days and I'm in love with it already, i don't know about you guys and garls but just looking at it wants me to love it with tendar care! No doubt Metal Gear Solid 4 is the best looking game ever! I checked out the PSN last night and Home, it's pretty cool. I ordered Little Big Planet and Ninja Gaiden Sigma online so more on the way!

In other news, I was planning going to take a trip to Japan for a few weeks this month, and attend the Tokyo Game Show this year - which i was thinking of doing a little coverage feed of it. Even though I had it planned since about March, it still worked out to be too expensive and complications arose so I decided to put it off till next year. Also since I'm currently learning the language with help of a mate, we might both go next year with the language in our belt, maaaaaybe lol.

So instead I've made a smaller trip up towards Sydney only for 3 days, the main reason being 'A Night In Fantasia' having a concert up there. Speaking of concerts, I got like 5 lined up in the next 3-4 months LOL.

Besides that, I been mainly busy with work and socialising. I haven't really had time to play any games lately though I have bought a bunch.... that has gone untouched lol. It's been mainly PC games again since I got my new laptop - Oblivion and Fallout 3 on PC are so awesome! I've added whatever I'm playing on my now playing list anyway if you are the nosey one!

Oh yeah my online ID is: mazzyboyz

I'm sure you'll see me around atm, since I'm cruising with my new found love!

Okay so a new screenshot.....trailer?(baaah) has been released for Max Payne 3, and above is a image which looks to be in-game. Now if your a fan of the series I'm sure within 5 seconds you would've gone WTF!? Is that him? Where is he? What the hell man! Now I don't like to judge, especially early on without knowing too much facts but really? This is gonna be the next Max Payne? Come on..

To me this instantly looks similar to Uncharted on PS3. The covering system, the environments, even the graphics look alike, yeah they look good though. However my feeling tells me this is gonna be different from the previous MP games, the whole dark noir theme will disappear and turn into some sort of jungle battling cover shooter game, which well as you know... is as common trend in FPS games these days........ doda.

I'm really hoping to be wrong here, but that's just my two cents from what I've seen and read below. What's your opnion and take on what you've seen of the new Max?

Here's some released info about the upcoming game: (from GameTrailers)

MAX PAYNE 3 FACTS

About The Story

Max Payne 3 begins 12 years after the events of Max Payne 2, with Max visibly older, more violent, and more world-weary from the events of his own life. Having left the NYPD, Max has been taking odd jobs in security and consulting, and when we find him he is providing personal protection for a wealthy family in Sao Paolo, one of the worlds deadliest and most crime-ridden cities. At absolute rock-bottom, Max discovers that trouble still dogs his every step, and he finds himself drawn into the brutal heart of the Brazils dark underworld.

About The Game

Max Payne 3 retains many trademarks of its predecessors; a focus on story and character-driven action, a large number of sophisticated weapons with dual-wield capabilities, Bullet-Time, an addiction to painkillers, mature themes and Maxs ever-present internal monologue. Max Payne 3 also utilizes Natural Motion and Rockstars own RAGE engine, working with brand-new particle physics technology to deliver spectacular, highly advanced close-quarters combat, an intelligent cover system, and constantly varied gameplay in every level.

About Brazil

Brazil is the fifth-largest country in the world, by area and population, and is notoriously known to house a number of the worlds worst drug traffickers, street gangs and kidnappers. The number one cause of death among the youth is murder.

Sao Paolos young gangs are amongst the most violent in the world, and the most dangerous of those is said to be the Primeiro Comando da Capital. The PCC has organized prison breaks, prison riots, drug trafficking, highway robberies and kidnappings since it was formed in 1993. With one gun for every 75 people in the country and 95% of those firearms obtained illegally, Max will need every skill he has in order to survive.
