I've procrastinated on this huge history project.  We've had months to do it.  It's National History Day, and I'm writing a 1,500 word+ paper on the freedom of the press.  The paper won't be the hard part, though- it's just the endless research!

Oh, did I mention it's due Tuesday?  As in January 16th Tuesday? Maybe I'll just turn it in a day late or something.

*sigh* I really need motivation.

I'm so glad it's Friday, though.  Even though I'm spending the long weekend writing a paper, at least I get to sleep in.  Plus, on Wednesday we got a new computer because the old one would restart randomly and is now dead.  Yay!

Plus, next week it's actually going to feel like winter around here. *le gasp* It might actually snow!  Apparently it snowed on Thursday.  After 5th period, the Spanish class ran out excited because "It's snowing! It's snowing!"  My science class has no windows, so a few of my friends and I were getting excited.  Since French doesn't have windows either, we ran to the lobby... only to find that there isn't a single snowflake in sight.  Ugh.  I haven't seen snow once this year, thanks to stupid windowless classrooms.

Now I'm going to go upstairs and read this whole stack of books and go to bed. *sigh* Wish me luck.  I need it.
