Dreamcast is not dead. I honestly don't know what TDGMods is trying to accomplish, but they're releasing another game (Blood 2) for the Sega Dreamcast. A fair discussion about it can be found here.
A man has a Gamerscore (what achievements contribute to on the XBox 360) of 384,155 and counting. The large number is a result of three years of unlocking. He hopes to unlock an achievement in every state to contribute to his goal of 1,000,000 Gamerscore. For the record, I have about 1,500. Link.
Nintendo's Reggie made some noise when he bet that New Super Mario Bros Wii will outsell Modern Warfare 2 (on an individual console, specifically the XBox 360). Infinity Ward has proclaimed that MW2 will be the best selling game of all time based on GameStop pre-orders. Link.
A gamer claims he got invited to Microsoft HQ and took pictures of Halo Reach. In my opinion, they look fake... really fake. You decide.
I must add that Assassin's Creed 2 has been advertising a lot... and doing it effectively. I was nearly sold on an add in GamePro. It looked like two regular pieces of ad paper, with "the first one is always the hardest" on the outside. I opened it up, and I was amazed when I realized what it had me doing. Check it out. (Just a heads up, it's a little gruesome).
How do you feel about it? I considered getting it, but then changed my mind for another game. I'm going to get Fighting Fantasy when it comes out on the DS (it's an RPG, so I'll get a good fill of the genre), and many people I know got DA:O already. If I can make it through their conversations and "you need to get this game"s I'll have no trouble borrowing it.
Should I change plans and get it, or wait it out and curb my want with other titles?
