So here I sit on an island that alot of Canadians come to in the summer to visit. Prince Edward Island is very beautiful in the summer. The soil is red and since we are on the water, the grass is always green, the island is known for fishing and farming (potatoes mostly), it's very lovely. And you know what we had a couple days ago? Snow...frigging snow. It is now raining, the snow is gone, but no flowers yet outside because of frost. It's quite depressing. We moved onto the island with hopes of spending summers on the beach...not yet. Anyway, just wanted to complain there for a bit.

My work has been busy. I had to work all weekend, we had Pirates (tried not to peek in, but still had to a couple times), Spiderman and Shrek. All selling out. Very busy, but I would of liked to spend it at home instead. I'm not working tonight, but the next two nights I am. I only got this job for the free movies and to get out of the house a couple nights. But since I know how to add, and I'm a good employee, they use me quite a bit. Maybe I'm too nice. I have to learn to say no once in a while. My family doesn't think much of my job, they think I'm wasting my talents (I've been working medical for the last 10 years), and since they don't like it too much, nobody wants to go to the movies with me. I've missed out seeing Blades of Glory, but I'm dragging my son to Spiderman on Thursday (he wants to see Pirates instead, but I haven't yet seen Spiderman).

I've been posting quotes and such on Days of Our Lives episodes, so my contribution points will be over 80, but they are not going up and I have no idea how to find out if I'm getting the points or somebody else is (my quotes were accepted but they were slightly changed everytime, so am I getting the points?).  I have no idea and have been working hard writing down what is happening and searching the web, and no way to find out who is getting the points.  I used to do episode summaries everyday (because of me getting Days 1 day eariler than the States), but they were starting to get rejected and the editor was putting in their own.  No hard feelings, but it's not fair.

Anyway, just wanted to rant a bit, depressed about the weather, depressed that I'm the only one in my family that likes my job, depressed all my TV shows are over for the season, depressed about my Days stuff, but happy the the DiMera's have made a showing finally on Days of Our Lives!!
