Here is something I have been wanting to do for a while now. This is a list of ten of my favourite (not necessarily the top ten, but very close) pop and rock albums (this excludes rap, metal, hard rock, etc.). Also, there will be one album per band/singer. Here is the list:

Queen - A Night at the Opera [I would have used the first Queen album, but that's closer to hard rock]

Song: Seaside Rendezvous

Michael Jackson - Bad [and I do have Thriller and Off the Wall]

Song: Speed Demon

The Beatles - Revolver [it could change, but this is my current favourite]

Song: Eleanor Rigby

Klaus Nomi - self-titled [weird album]

Song: Lightning Strikes

Elton John - Honky Château [hard choice]

Song: Honky Cat

Shakira - Pies descalzos [another hard choice]

Song: Estoy aquí

Billy Idol - Rebel Yell (my only Billy Idol album)

Song: (Do Not) Stand in the Shadows

Jobriath - self-titled [some old glam rock]

Song: Rock of Ages [what a weird costume...]

Amaral - Estrella de mar [even has an eight and a half minute song without a chorus!]

Song: El centro de mis ojos

M.I.A. - Kala [recent purchase, but interesting album... and Foolz3h calls it rap]

Song: World Town

I have some photos from my camera from when I was away, so I will try to remember to upload them to show at some time soon. Here's my Last.FM profile again.

I need to get 'A Night At The Opera', maybe now that I have more money. 'Bad' is my current favorite MJ album, but it would be tough for me to decide which one I like the most. Shakira!

I think Blind Guardian's "A Night at the Opera" is much better than this boring Queen rubbish.

Cool list! ~ I think Revolver is my favorite Beatles album. Honky Chateau rocks too and you know I love Queen.

Kala is more of a rap/world music album. Most of it's songs are inspired from South Indian/Sri Lankan folk music as well.
Revolver is my favorite Beatles album as well, followed by Abbey Road.
Night at the Opera is the only Queen album I often listen to over and over again.
Otherwise not too much similar from mine and yours list.

Funny how there is no metal album at all.
