This movie has good performances and one liners from Quentin but the movie is all over the place. I watched it four times and still had to think why it was shot like a spliced hour and a half preview trailer.

All I got to say is The Catalina Wine Mixer!!!!! This movie had me and my teenage daughters laughing from start to the credits, one of the funniest films of 2008!!!! Team Apatow have done it again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This movie is the one of two movies from Apatow that I did not care too much for. It started out with promise of being funny and many one liners during the course of the film, but somehow it lost it's way.

This film is dark, tragic, optimistic, and iconic. Filled with a good story, brilliant acting, good pacing, numerous villains, humor, action, special effects, just one of the best movies I've seen and I can't wait to see it again!!!

What was the cause? What happened to the people? Did anyone survive in the areas? Why only those states? Why did the main characters have a strained marriage? Why did the best friend hate the wife? Why talk about possible infidelity when it was just a lunch date? Why talk about Joey when he had no importance to the story? Was it the wind? The trees? Mother Nature or poor writing...a story must have structure and characters to identify with and build on so you can take this journey with them. Anything brought up in the story should have a purpose and a conclusion to the conflict. I did not care about the actors nor their plight at any point in this film. The film also suffered from poor pacing and it left you wondering at the end. I do however, like how he takes any topic and break it down on an one to one intimate basis in his stories, but he needs to get focused and stop trying to reclaim the glory of the sixth sense and move on and make better stories!!!!!!!

Funny! Hilarous! A good time! Aptow and the gang have done it again with a comedy that will be a classic...I was only disappointed with some of the scenes from the trailers were not in the film, but it will make the DVD for sure!!!!

Funny at times yet not original (Ferrell and sport movies are coming a dime a dozen!!) and I've found it hard at times if the movie wanted to be serious or a comedy. And the camera angle of the free throw line was just unneccessary. I'm waiting...
