*TACKLE HUGS!*

I MISSED YOU GUYS!!! Anyway, now that I'm home and freshly tanned, prepare for a very very very long blog about my adventures in France I'll update in parts, cuz I've got lots to write.

First of all, I tell you all who was there:

Me
My mum
My sis
Kirsty (our french pal)
Kirsty's son, Jean Pierre
Kirsty's daughter, Kaylea.
Mums other French pal, Jean Marie.

Our French buddies all speak English, except for Jean Marie. He can say some English, but not much.

Okay, part one. This is our road trip that we went on to get to the Fremch camp site. It took six and a half hours to get there, as we hit a little speed bump on the way...or you could say a deer. Poor thing. It just ran out in front of the car, there wasn't any time to even react. When we hit it, the car just stopped and there was silence. Me and JP ran to see if the deer was okay, and as you could imagine a car at sevendy miles per hour could easily kill a deer. By the look of the damage, it would have been instant. But still, it was very upsetting. So we ended up getting a lift with Kirsty's american friends. But I'll tell you about them later.

*Moment of silence for the deer*

Okay, sad bit over. by the time we got a hire car, it was the next day. We set off early. For the first hour or so, we played card games and sang French songs. One of these was called "Michelle my belle" and the whole car sang along. It was so funny, cause my mum's called Michelle. So here's a scenario:

*In the car singing*
Jean Marie: Michelle, my belle...
All: *shouts* I LOVE YOU!!!
Jean Marie: Michelle, my belle...
All: I NEED YOU!!!

Lol,

Also, we spent around two hours in a debate about who was braver, Link or Bilbo. I'll let you guess who won :

Me: Link had to save Hyrule from the king of evil.
JP: Bilbo had to fight a red dragon.
Me: Link has the most powerful sword in the world. Evil can't even touch it its that damn good.
Jp: *pauses for thought* Well, Bilbo had a walking stick, so we win.
Me: *WTF face*

We also did some other things, like nearly dropping the digital camera out the window and scoffing French chocolate like there's no tomorrow. (which I'm doing right now)
The chocolate is TO FREAKIN DIE FOR!!! I brought back four three packs of the double lait one... Not all for me mind. *scoffs*

I wrote two fan fictions too, They're not complete yet though. I wrote one on a road trip, cuz I missed you guys! The other, naturally, is a Zelda one. Lani, if you want the name and summary pm me and I'll send it to you

Now for the Americans. Heather, their accents sound exactly like yours. Its scary.
Moving on. They where the loveliest bunch of people you could meet. Within ten minutes of us meeting them, they invited us to come down to their place and ride their horses, canoe in their lake, drive their quad bikes... We said we'd come down after the camping. And so we did, but I'll continue that after the camping stuff.

Update:

On the first day, JP immediately made friends. I for one, hid in the chalet while he tried to drag me out to see them. But I did end up meeting them at a disco, on the second night.
I really didn't want to go, becuase... I can't really dance I was like this:

I can not, will not, and refuse to dance.
Kirst: We'll see.
*Half an hour later*
Me: *dancing like a lunitic*

Speaking of French dancing, they can seriously dance. I'm not even joking. The dance that is all the rage in france is called the Tektonik. It. Is. Seriously.cool. The boys are actually better than the girls at it! Heres a vid:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VqRR10Xy3GU

Non- French people usually slate it but I think it's cool.
So at the dance I met JP's friends. First of all, wow. They know how to greet people. They greet you with two kisses, one on each cheek. They didn't even know me! It's better than the Norn Iron greeting of,"What about yeh mate?" The was this one guy... He was called Antony. Really cute. (sorry dudes, no pics ) JP, being a real sweetie, asked him if he wanted to dance with me when a slow dance came on. He said yes It was great apart from the fact my mum was there, really embarrassing.

update later.

You may think your brain is actually malfuctioning, but its true. I ACTUALLY BLOGGED!!!
And shame on me for not blogging in ages. *hits self* Oww my eye!!

I wrote a poem Again

I wish I could be there again,

Back safely in the warm embrace we call home.

I miss that place.

Everything there was safe.

I had stability there,

I had you there.

I thought my departure was justified,

Deliberation told me this was what I wanted.

Perhaps not.

I tell them I'm fine,

But my intuition speaks differently.

I hide away, recoiling into darkness.

They don't understand.

Looking back,

I have no trigger as to why I left.

Reminiscing does trigger those memories;

I remember one day vividly.

The teal sky was not broken by clouds,

The trees where so fresh and full of life.

We went to the beach, where we wrote our names in the sand.

Everything was so easy, so simple.

But I have a trait of making it difficult.

I try to think back as to what it felt like;

To be free again, to be clean again, to be home again.

And as I brood alone in the darkness,

I sink into a merciless void.

Depression breeds depression,

Like a disease it engulfs you.

Impulse takes over my actions,

I must go back, to see you again, to rid myself of this disease.

If I don't, I'm afraid I might self destruct.

A plane ticket is a small price to pay for happiness.

Because in your company I know I can be me,

And that's the way its supposed to be.

There is nothing left for me here;

There never was in the first place.

I leave hastily, and as the cab door shuts, I don't look back.

And as the plane gracefully ascends into the ever-blue sky,

I'm not sorry.

The air hostess greets me with a welcoming smile,

And I manage to return it.

As we touch down unto home soil,

I shiver with anticipation.

Will you remember me?

Surely so, we have shared so many wonderful memories.

Soon after, I'm standing at your door,

And I pause, my hand raised, ready to knock.

I gather myself, and rap on the door three times.

You answer immediately.

At first you seem shocked to see me standing cautiously on your doorstep.

Then you smile, the smile I remember.

"Welcome home."

It doesn't have a name though.... Ah well. Tell me your thoughts on it.

Random stuff that's been going on:

- I got the game I was pining over, I mentioned it on my last blog. (Super smash bros brawl ) And I kick ass, not meaning to brag or anything. Cause I don't dig being smug. Though I did get my ass kicked against a level nine Bowser. *licks wounds* IT HURTS IT REALLY DOES!!
Funnily enough, I seem to like playing the villan characters... Except for being Link *giggles*He's a good guy. He saved princess Zelda a gazillion times. I think she's perfectly capable of saving herself though... she just wants Link to do it for her... *high five for Lani*

-I overheard the most hilarious convo when I was at the beach :

*a kid walks over to his mum, covered in muck/sand*

Mother:*shouts* Look at the state of you!! You're new clothes are all dirty!!
Brother: *wails*
Sister: You should try being dirty mummy.

*catches breath* anyway...
-I got some awesome sheep icons... Just cause I'm obsessed

Kiera the sheep

It just reminded me of the nickname Lil gave me PIRATE SHEEP

OMG YAY A SHEEP

yay!! Feel free to steal.

- Speaking of sheep, I went to the lambs market on wednesday I'm also going to the sheep breeders sale tomorrow My uncle wants three pure bred Hampshire ewes. They look like terrorists. I swear. Just look:

THEY WEAR BALACLAVAS!!

*is not obsessed* Oh and don't forget to guess the song.

Anyway, I can't think of anything else to write. Love you my silly sheeps.

Hiya peeps

I'm feeling rather reflective today. So I looked out the window and reflected. Then I wrote a poem about what I saw. (Not exactly what I saw outside my window. If a did it would be a poem about SHEEP!!)

So here goes. It deals with losing a loved one, war, poverty and racisim.

Hope

Across the whole world,
It's people cry an ocean;
An ocean full of grief and hurt;
The tears of the Broken.

They cry for their loved ones;
Some fallen victim to disease.
Their friend is close to leaving.
Their Hope started to slip away,
Like the ocean's gentle breeze.

An injured soldier lies dying,
Caught in the pointless conflict of war.
In the middle of the crossfire,
He cries out to God, "What are we fighting for?"
And as the medics arrive by his side,
He takes a laggard breath;
They try hopelessly to save him,
But he dies an afflictive death.

A young girl cries out in hunger.
She's alone in the inky dark,
She tries to feed her siblings,
But poverty has left it's mark.
She cries again for help.
No one hears her futile calls.
She gives up in despair;
Maybe hope can't heal all.

A beaten man lies in hospital,
His broken body thrashed blue.
As to why people would do this,
The injured man had a clue:
It was because of his appearance,
The colour of his skin.
But he valiantly got straight on his feet,
He wouldn't let them win.
So he went back into the world;
Devoid of any hate.
And if one of his afflicters were in need of help,
He would assist them without haste.

Perhaps we should take the example of the beaten man,
And help those in need.
Do wrong to none, and help all those who may need it.
Because from an act of kindness,
Springs up a tiny seed.
Let them not ask for help,
But pick them up if they slip on life's slope.
Because anything can happen,
If you never give up Hope.

Tell me your thoughts on it

Anyways, I thought I might do a little random thing:

Five facts you may not know about me:

1. I'm a big fan of sevendies music. From ELO to The Fortunes. ME LOVE IT!!

2. I'm an artist. I love drawing things, sketching is what I'm best at. I like to do water colour paintings too. If you'd like I'll post a pic of some of my drawings later

3. I've never had my ears pierced. My sister had a horrible experiance and it scarred me for life. I'm not exagerating either!!

4. Sometimes I get so lost in thought that I block out everything. If someone speaks to me, I can't even hear them!

5. I'm a huge video gamer. I save up and relentlessly and buy video games for multiple platforms I'm actually lusting after Super Smash Bros Brawl right now for the Wii.
