By exposing their personal lives to the public is how celebrities live. Should we feel sorry for them? Oh, those poor wealthy beautiful souls can't spend one quiet day in their gigantic mansions and villas without the paparazzi begging them for a photo.
The truth is that by putting themselves on the headlines of the entertainment news is how the celebrities get to the covers of magazines (Do you think you would have seen Katie Holmes in 10 different magazines in the past 2 months a year ago? Could Jennifer Aniston have kept people talking about her Post 'Friends' without having to break up with Brad Pitt?) and eventually land up with big movie titles or productions. You may think they hate all the attention but they put themselves in those situations so people keep talking about them. Two of TV's favourite sweethearts dating in real life would make people want to see how they are on-screen as well, I personally don't have a problem with TV stars dating each other and yes they might truly be in love but what is the point of publizing it? It's so people watch the TV show! The music industry does it aswell, Joel Madden and Hilary Duff wanted to keep their relationship secret...until her new album was just about to come out, how convenient. 'TomKat' started acting 'crazy in love' just before the premires of their new movies, and oh wait - they are geting married just when Mission Impossible 3 will be released. I'm not saying everything in celebrities lives are fake, it just that they are over emphasised, and we shouldn't go around making a big deal about it because that just fuels them to get attention and scheme ways of making themselves more popular.
One common and famous example is Paris Hilton, not famous for anything she has done professionally, her work hasn't made her famous, her 'wild' personal life has, so why should she stop? She will obviously continue doing 'crazy' things until she gets tired, hoping that since she so famous already people will want to know about her life. Then when the people don't want to know about her reinvented personal life anymore she'll move out of L.A and tell people it's to 'find peace again' when really it's because she's just not getting the same sort of attention from the public like she used to.
I do believe there are many talented people in the media industry, but if they are truly talented and completely not interested about selling themselves through their personal life, they will be the people you'll see living their lives at it's best because they got the fame they deserve and should be well grounded there, while people who get too much attention will often end up desperately seeking for exposure hoping for 'comebacks'.
So why do we encourage people to make fools out of themselves by giving them so much popularity? Is it to make us feel better about ourselves? Maybe. But one thing we shouldn't do is to be influenced by the 'now hip and happening' celebrities because it's not really them that make themselves popular, it's you.

khushboo_kh must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could khushboo_kh possibly have for not rating a single film?
