Ok, so, going back to my last entry, I stated the issues I was having with the MadCatz wireless... Well, I took it back and exchanged it for something else... That sounds so easy, right? Wrong. It took me over an hour of talking to this punk kid who thought he was god because some moron gave him a title of acting supervisor, or something to that extent. "No, I can't take it back, all I can do is exchange it for the same one." Why, I ask... "Because you don't have the original packaging." Original packaging? When I buy something for that much cash, I'm not expecting to have to bring it back twice in less than a month, so I obviously threw away the freakin packaging... Anyways, long story short, I finally talked him into giving me a credit for it...it wasn't easy, but whatever... So, I used that credit and paid the extra $ and got the Logitech 2.4 ghz wireless controller... Plus, I got a great deal on Metal Gear Solid 3 : Snake Eater...
Anyways, the new controller has shone so far...no real complaints... It's a little uncomfortable on the hands after long periods of gaming, and it's not quite as form fitting as the Madcatz one, but it's still pretty comfy. And it's just a regular flat black color, not the cool funky orange of the MC, but cosmetics isn't very important to me. The only real problem I've had, albeit a small one, is the d-pad...it's really loose and funky to use, you really have to lean on the buttons to get it to work... But since most games I'm playing these days uses the analog sticks, it's not a really that big a deal...I actually barely even notice it... On the pro side, first of all it works! lol No game play issues to report so far, and I've heard opinions on it from others who say that it's very durable, so I'm happy for that. Also, there is an auto sleep mode, which activates after 5 minutes of inactivity, which means I can just leave it and not have to worry about tuning it off, like the MC...this should lead to a much longer battery life. And speaking of batteries, this one take 2 AA batteries! Yay! AA are stronger, last longer, and are cheaper than the AAA that the MC took, plus 2 AA batteries were included with the controller! This made me VERY happy! I know, small things impress small minds...lol
Anyways, like I said, I also picked up MGS3:SE... I've never really played the MG games before, so I didn't know what to expect really, but I had heard good things about the game, so I just went for it, and I don't feel bad at all... I've already put in over 18 hours on it, and I'm still nowhere near done, which is a relief after finishing the last game I played, God of War, in just under 9. It seems good so far, the graphics are kool, the story is excellent, and the gameplay is good, though it has taken some getting used to. I don't need to do a review or anything, if you want one, just search the site...but I did give it a 9.2 rating, and that was without alot of gameplay in...I'd probably rate it a little higher now that I'm used to it...
Anyways, that should be enough for now... You're all caught up on my gaming life... Don't you feel special? lol So I'm going to call it quits for now, ttyl... K

Some people just don't have opinions. Like kemikalphreak.
kemikalphreak must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could kemikalphreak possibly have for not rating a single film?
