Wednesday marked the day of the 2nd major snowstorm of the year, in my area. Schools were cancelled so my kids were home for 2 days. Thursday's weather wasn't as bad as Wednesday's as far as the snow, but the wind was strong and extremely cold. Enough too keep me in the house for 2 days.  I don't usually go out much during the winter, I am more of a spring/summer gal. I hate the cold. I do hope this storm was the last one of the year, but somehow I doubt it....

School was back on for today, since the storm is now over. My kids were glad to be going back to school, as they were getting bored after having 2 days off.  I drove my kids to school this morning because of the extreme cold. Too cold for them to be waiting for the bus.

This weekend they will be getting a change of scenery, as they are going to visit their father. They will be back home on Sunday.
