So this past weekend was as crazy as I would have expected.

[color=red]Friday I got off work early so I could go home and get some packing / cleaning done before I met up with the director to drive into Redmund for the long shooting weekend.

Let's just start by saying when I got home me and the soon to be ex-roommate almost had words...

As I placed a glass in the sink, and turned around to go back to my room I saw that yet AGAIN she had splattered oil ALL OVER the stove and the counter, onto the floor and wall. I spent almost 2 hours, YES 2 HOURS, scrubbing all my canisters off, my side of the stove, and walls to clean it up.

She, meanwhile is PACKING??? her own stuff up. Looks like she is also moving out, so the whole time I just got madder and madder as I cleaned - if she tries to sneak off without cleaning her crap up, and I get a cleaning fine I'm not going to be happy...

Anyway, I finally got a text from director that she will meet me back at work, to wait for the lady to bring her the car to use for the shoot. We were expecting on getting the car by 7, take an hour to get to the location - in the woods, and have enough time to get stuff set up for the 7am call time on Saturday.

Well, that didn't happen, it was almost 9 by the time the lady delivered the car , thus it was almost 11 by the time we got out to the house. Were told it was a little messy, but that was what we needed for the crazy dude's house.

Now, mind you we (Jenn - the director, her daughter, and I ) were supposed to sleep in the house we were going to shoot in. But, HECK NO!!! when we got there the place was way worse than we were told. The owners had let their cats - more than 12 - have free run of the place after they moved into another building on the property. There was cat pee stains on the floors, mouse droppings all over, dead/living bugs - really nasty. On the bright side - we got to stay in the guest house - about 100 yards away. A 2Million Dollar guest house that place was freaking AMAZING plus - the lady - who runs a cat rescue, had 9 adult cats and several little bitty kittens in the house (VERY CLEAN)

*Side story here, about one of the cats. I never realy belived the whole thing about cats not realizing how when they are in a multi story house and lookng out a window they don't realize they are that high and try to jump out to catch a bird - killing the cat. Well, I am now a believer. One of the cats tried to jump out the window - nearly 3 story drop. He first set his front paws on the ledge, I figured he'd get down. But then he hoped all the way onto the ledge - less than an inch wide Before I could react he stumbled and barely caught himself as he began to fall out. I had to grab him with one hand over my shoulder and try to crank the window shut with my other before he fell out. Talk about getting your heart racing at 3am.*

Finally fell asleep at about 4 and up at 6:30. Jen and I go up to the house and start cleaning *skin crawling the entire time* The owner had just left most of their stuff in the place - going to toss it all and refinish the house an give it to a needy family. So we decided on the two rooms we were going to shoot in and moved stuff to fit the needs. Each time we moved a box tehre were mouse droppings. It took us 2 1/2 hours to get the place cleaned up - the mom of the main actress came in later and used heavy duty cleaners to clean the restroom, and the cat messes.

Anyway. We got delayed 3 hours because the guy incharge of the lighting didn't show up. We got done with the shots at nearly 9pm - with two being pushed to the next day due to delays. That night we stayed at one of the actor's houses - nice place, most of the crew went over after wrap to eat - used it for the last scene of the night. We made up the two shots first thing in the morning at the house.

Sunday was the fun day. We had the gun - Python .380 - NON-FIRE stunt gun. I was in charge of it for the day. We did the "Big" shots of the movie. The girl had to scream bloody murder, yells for help all sorts of wacked out stuff - we kept expecting the cops to roll up the hill because of it - but they never did. There is a chase scene, he falls and shoots the girl, then himself. he blows a hole in his head - even had blood tubing to spray the blood out - hidden under his shirt, ran behind his ear, and pointed out the back. After we got done with him, we shot the scene where the girl gets shot - only could do 1 take because there was only 1 dress. So the scene was filmed with 2 cameras, just in case something happened. It looked freaking amazing. The tubing was run up under her dress, a small cut was put in the dress to blow it out, the tube ran infront of her an was hidden by the car - where the air canister was set off from inside to set off the blood.

Last but not least the3 actors, Jen, and the audio lady raced down the road in the car, wipping around corners, - as we followd in 3 other cars, racing around for the scenes in the car as they drive to the hospital. We wrapped at the girl's house where we all got to relax 14 scenes done.

I have blood splatter on my shoe still - staind the shoe

Got back home at 6:30pm Sunday night - had to leave early to get back to Seattle - the rest of them went back to the location to grab the rest of the gear before they headed home.

--------------

Got up a couple more images in the Supernatural Pic thread.

including

Got Friday 13th remake "Killer Cut" eddition, on sale so it was half price. Have to say not pleased with the so called "Special Features". A quick half-arsed behind the scenes thing 11 min long - NO JP in it, anded with an alternate version of one guy's death. Then there were 4 and only 4 deleted scenes - 1 of them is the same thing with the guy's death so there are really only 3 deleted scenes. And I didn't notice any changes within the film to make it any different than wat was in the theater... So not getting why they were making such a big deal about the "Killer Cut" eddition.

---------

Well, but this time Friday, I will be a college graduate - graduation should end around 5.

Got my website up and running in full

www.kdtfiles.net

Has some of my 3D stuff up.

-------------

Well, have some last min stuff to get done before tomorrow - Portfolio review day.

*Hugs*

--P.S. On Saturday I will be out of student housing and heading back to ML on Sunday (RENT on Saturday night) so I won't have net for a few days, supposed to be hooked up next week. I'll try and log on after review tomorrow. If I can't I'll be back in a few days.

The Good:

Only 9 days till graduation *gulp*

I give my final presentation in my art history class tomorrow night, won't have to go to that class next week.

My finals for the portfolio class are done for Presentation next Thursday's big event. Getting the finishing touches done on my files to upload to my site. Should have it 100% done by next Thursday .

My final project for Mod 2 is due next week, still working on it.

This weekend is going to be busy. On friday I'll be leaving work early and catching a ride with the director into Redmond where we will be shooting all weekend, have time to set some of the stuff up for the next day. It's going to be the big scenes in the movie - will start shooting Saturday early AM and work thru the night into mid day Sunday - long freaking weekend.

The Bad:

So I went to the tattoo place yesterday, good thing is they loved my SN inspired tattoo the bad thing is that they charge $125 an hour and it will take atleast 3 hours to do it at the size I want. Not to mention because they don't know well I can take the pain I may have to do the outline in one session then go back for a 2nd to fill in the black - though I think if the pain is bad enough I may want to do it all at once cause if it is bad I don't think I could make myself go back to finish it. I wanted to have had it done next week, but now it will take longer to get the total to pay them, so more like a couple of months away.

I got my tax return back all $46 worth of it, so I decided to use the money for something fun. Got a used copy of CSI season 7 (was good)and also got the 2Disc special edition of My Bloody Valentine 3D. has the 2d and 3d version - with 4 sets of the cheap 3d glasses - and a disc with some special features.

Let's just say I'm glad I had put the money up back when it was in the theater, because atleast whn it was in the theater the color was normal. but for the DVD they used the 2 tone thing - rather than blue and red it was more green and maroon purple. The 3D FX didn't work NEARLY as well, some of the ones I loved before now suck. You can't see into the corpses nearly as well, you can't see "around" the pick tip. there are scenes where the color layers for the 3d don't line up in any way shape or form so all you get is a fuzzy image - such as where the bloody hand in the hospital is hanging down infront of the camera the in the theater the hand was crystal clear and the blood dripping looked cool, but in the DVD you can't hardly see the hand. Atleast I can watch the 2D version to get some enjoyment out of the film, but it isn't as good as seeing it in 3D.

The "Where The Heck Did That Come From":

So, last Wendsday when I was going thru my email I got one from Nick, my ex-fiance, whom I haven't even seen/talked to in 6 years . He's sent me several emails in 2 days. Wants me to move down to FL after I graduate so we can get back together. I DON'T THINK SO.

But let's just talk about random...

----------------------------------------------

I needed to do something for fun lastnight, to just let my brain relax. Came up with some new - rather cool looking Supernatural art 3 computer backgrounds, a new icon, a new banner image, and a couple of random pics. Going to put the finishing polish on them and hope to have them posted in the next few days. Got some ideas on more ones to do.

----------------------

**EDIT: Got the new icon loaded, and the new banner image. Will get the other images posted to the pic thread tomorrow.**

I guess that's it for now.

My new Icon is a scan of a keychain Jen gave me during the shoot on Sunday. Hmm, I bumped up to a new leve and didn't even notice

Last Sunday we shot 13 scenes. They did some stuff up at one of the local skate parks, then back up to the house location for 10 of them. We had to reshoot two really emotional scenes - the ones where the neighbors almost called the cops the last time - due to the actress playing the mom being replaced. And can I just say the new actress is wayyyyyy nicer than the last one . We filmed until almost 2am - long day. By the end of it I could hardly walk anymore my knees hurt so bad.

we are supposed to shoot again this weekend but I won't be able to make it. Have stuff to do with mom on saturday - she's driving into town so I can get to the places I need to go for the stuff for portfolio presentation - plus I am in reall nead of a hair cut .

And I'll be spending ALL day on Sunday working on my Web Page to get it up and running for Tuesday.

---------

So this last week has been hard... to say the least. The amount of work that I've put into my portfolio is mind boggeling. I've been working on 3 days non-stop working on stuff - no sleep - then 6 hours of sleep and right back into the homework - with class mixed in there a few times. And a computer crash on Tuesday morning at 3 am, thus I had to redo about 2 days worth of work

But... I finally finished all the boards got them sent off to print and will get them back on Saturday . So for that class all I have left is the web site.

And on an even better note, because I made Dean's list again I'm getting some sort of pin (on the 5th) to wear on my gown for graduation.

----------

As for my gift to myself... The other day mom was able to sell a good amout of the RC stuff, so I got some extra spending money out of it, enough that I could have picked up a couple of DVD sets. But... I decided on something better.

I was able to get 2 tickets to RENT the show was nearly sold out by the time I got the tickets. They are about 10 rows closer to the stage then I was back when I went to SpamAlot (like 2 years ago ). The two key guys from the movie AND the original RENT cast are in it so it should be good. Going the day after graduation.

-----------

Only 3 more weeks to go... *bum. bum. bummmmm.* *gulp*

-----------

Well, better get back to work.

*hugs*

Okay, so like I said I've really only seen him in the two shows. And I've seen two or three episodes of Dark Angel, and he was okay in that show. I have found him to be a rather good actor, and he is really talented. He's not just getting by on...

Sure I know there are those fans who only see him as eye candy and nothing else. Well I'm not one of those, I see him more as a talented actor who just happens to be good looking. Because it is the talent in his acting that makes me a fan.

Mom and Dad Save the World
This is one of those movies where some may say it is stupid, others say it is good. I say it is good with stupid humor. I’ve seen it a few times and it has yet to get old. The jokes are fairly good, but the characters are rather funny. Toy...

Saw IV
This movie was awsome, it totally makes up for the dullness of the third one. The deaths in this movie were so much better, the story had great twists and turns. We finally get to know the true reason why Jigsaw became the psycho killer we all...

Hackers
It's not great, but its an ok movie thats fun to watch. The story was weak, the characters were bad, but for some reason you can't look away.
