well i just overclocked my computer for the first time, i was staying home from class sick out of my mind, unable to play games so i figured out hoe to OC my CPU and RAM, i took my CPU to 3.0 Ghz, by nocking up the fsb to 1333 from the previous 1066, and knocked the 800 mhz ddr 2 ram up to 1066, so as it stands here is my rig.

q6600 at 3.0 Ghz, FSB @ 1333

6 Gb of DDR Dual Channel @ 1066 Mhz

Timings:5-5-5-15, 2.1 volts

Geforce 9800 GX2 1 Gb Memmory

Mobo 680i SLI

Assorted SATA 3 Hard disks @ 7200 RPMs

i love my rig, the periferals have been gathered over years, as have the internals. I'm looking at getting a new GPU and another CPU next fall. Can't wait to overclock my next CPU, it was easy and rewarding.
