Before I begin, I want to say that Assassin's Creed 2 was better revealed here then yesterday but whatever.
5) Metroid: The Other M (Wii)
The only reason I didn't put this higher on the list is the lack of information but honestly Team Ninja and Metroid is just mind-blowing in my opinion. The lack of Itagaki might heard the project but overall the experience seems promising. A slick beat-em up with an engaging story. This could easily shoot up the list.
4) Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker (PSP)
Since it appears Metal Gear Solid: Rising will be an action game, Peace Walker promises to continue the stealth action on the PSP. The game will feature Big Boss and seems to be a continuation of Portable Ops. Honestly, more MGS is always a good thing, regardless of platform.
3) God of War III (PS3)
Amazing graphics and the same great God of War gameplay we know and love. Honestly, God of War is the best beat-em up action title out there and I feel God of War will continue the trend of great storytelling with epic action, boss battles and gore. Really looking forward to this one.
2) Uncharted 2: Among Thieves (PS3)
While God of War III did impress, Nathan Drake might finally make me want to buy a PS3. Balls-to-the-walls action was what this game seems to deliver and honestly I dig those very cinematic action titles. Splinter Cell impressed me yesterday and Uncharted delivered an almost equal experience if not for...
1) Super Mario Galaxy 2 (Wii)
I admit I'm a huge Nintendo fan boy so Super Mario Galaxy 2 made me do what Andy Samberg does in that Lonely Island song. Tons of gameplay variety, great art direction and friggen Yoshi! I wouldn't be surprised if the licking up enemies is controlled by pointing at enemies. Added Wiimote functionality! Expect this one to be a contender for GOTY 2010.
I really don't know what to make of The Last Guardian. I love Ico and Shadow of the Colossus, but I need more to go on. New Super Mario Bros Wii looks great but probably should've been a DS game. Also, I didn't include MAG because well, I don't really care for it
