I recently re-installed quake 3 today, and no one was online playing. I few servers but all east coast. I think that I can officially say that quake 3 is dead. Oh well, back to cs and bia.

Fond memories of Q3 in college. It's been out for four or five years now, though, so I'm not surprised that its popularity is waning. One of the best online games ever, in my opinion.

it was a long time ago since i've played Q3 , but IMO it's one of the best games ever , not to mention it's technology , just look at how many games used the Q3 engine .

I was a UT fan - never favored Q3's helter-skelter-ness, but that comes as not a surprise to me. It never seemed to reach its expectations completely.
