5 more stages on alien soldier..... this game is punishing as hell.
25 stages... about 4 bosses per stage, one after the other.. that's like 75 boss fights! eat your heart out shadow of the colossus!
i'm now on stage 18 and i'm fighting a boss that currently has 4 different forms (and there might be more)! and i only have one health bar, and you need to constantly switch weapons in real-time ("real time... weapon change?") because they run out of energy. the game only offers you a few continues for the whole game (no save points). so i got to stage 15 or whatever and i just though... f**k it, i'll have to switch to an easier difficulty if i want to see the rest of the bosses. now the game makes me feel like a wimp.. ;_;

Use an Action Replay or a Gameshark etc. to help you out.

yeah, it was originally a megadrive game, but i'm playing it on the VC. it was never released in the U.S on the genesis - only in japan and europe.

Wow. The game sounds pretty intense. And the kind of game that makes me glad for the advances in gaming, lol.

Fantastic game and great graphics! Besides the absence of save points, can you still save at some point your progress in the game, or you loose it all when you switch the console off?

you can't save, but there is a password system to retrieve your data. i can't remember if that's in the so-called 'easy' mode only though.

75 boss fights... I wonder what plethora of animals they bring up during the course of that game.
