Ok, so my german class took these AATG exams, and if you qualify, you can win a trip to Germany. I qualified and I had to fill out this application, and tonight the guy who runs it is going to call me and give me a phone interview. I think this decides who wins. In 5 minutes my German teacher is going to call me and talk to me about what I should say. I think I'm actually more nervous to talk with her than the interview. She's a brilliant teacher though. Anyway, this is a national exam, and only one person in my chapter(I don't know how big that is) wins. I wasn't really nervous about it until today in German class. She made me and the other kid who qualified sit in front of the class while they asked us questions. Let's just say I didn't do so hot then, but I'm hoping it was just from speaking in front of people, which I think it is, because when I speak in German to myself or my friends who take German, I usually do fine. Hopefully it'll be easier over the phone. ![]()
I'm soo nervous, I think I need to take a chill pill. Wish me luck! Please, I need it.![]()
EDIT: Yeah, I didn't make it. A senior in my school won the trip though, so thats always exciting. Apparently my very small, not exciting, lousy school in southwestern pennsylvania just beat the record for number of times a school has won in a row, and this is out of the whole country, so thats exciting. Oh well, maybe next year...
Ok. So as everyone knows the school season is or has started. Mine personally starts sept. 4, and that means I won't be on here much. After school I have volleyball from 4-6 or a game so I probably won't be on here at all unless my parents are out(since they don't know I go on here) or my practice is cancelled (cause I have like an hourafter I get home from school until my dad getshome) for football games on fridays. So that probably means I'll go on once a week or so until the end of October. That really sucks for me cause season 3 is coming soon and I won't be on to find new information(cause if you think its getting leaked like crazy now wait until a week before the premier.) GAHH I hope there are more commercials in the U.S. other than the short "I have hair?" cause season 3 doesn't seem like its coming fast enough. *starts rambling about stupid school, and stupid nick for making us wait, and stupid volleyball (even though I love it so)and stupid tak and iCarly for getting 1,000 commercials a month before when avatar is only 3 weeks away and all we get is TEN TON SEPTEMBER! o joy*
Ok, so if anyone wonders where I am (which they usually don't) hopefully that'll answer their question.
OK. So my parents don't know to the extent my obsession with Avatar. They just think I really like it. Not thatI go on forums and look for season 3 info. As you probably knowinfo and videosfrom the Avatar panel at comicon are probably going to be up late saturday. I can't look at them then, cause my parents will be home. Same with Sunday. I'm going to Atlantic City NJ. REALLY REALLY early on Tuesday. I was fine with that cause then I would have Monday to look at the new info right? WRONG!. I have a softball clinic from 9-1. I'm going to get picked up at 8:30 and if its on schedule I'll get home at 1:30 except the fact that softball practices always end and I think my coach is going to want me to work with the Coach from some West Virginia college(no I don't live in West Virginia...thank god) or my ride home will probably work with him so I won't get home until at least 2-2:30. probably later. My parents get home between 3:30 and 4. I won't have much if any time to look at new info from comic con so then I'd have to wait until the NEXT monday. Which really sucks. I'm hoping my parents go out shopping or something on Sunday(when they do I NEVER go with them. Its so boring looking at kitchen supplies and old lady clothes...bleh) When my mom leaves at 8 on Monday I'm gonna get ready for softball and hopefully have some time to look at stuff before my ride comes. And hopefully I'll have time after softball to look at stuff too. If I don't...I just might die.
I'm excited for AtlanticCitythough...even...if...I'm not old enough to gamble or drink, still excited.
EDIT: I got to see the trailer and everything. My parents went to my grandparents and I didn't go cause thats really boring and I'm going to see them in Atlantic City so I did get to hear about Mai and Zuko kissing before they got back(which is always a good thing to hear) Then yesterday my mom went to a funeral and my dad was cutting grass and our yard is big so he wasn't around and I saw the trailer and was like WOAH! I just got back from softball today and am trying to find as much info as I could.
