Every now and then I run into some old game here at Gamespot that nobody has reviewed before. And if it's a game I know well I feel almost as my duty to make something about it - it happened with Gargoyle's Quest - Ghosts'n Goblins (GB), Hatris (NES) and Yie Ar Kung Fu (NES).
Now here's my newest contribution: RoboCop 2 (NES). Check it out if you have some interest in it.

(Thanks Dualmask for reminding me of this)

If I ever had a chance to play RoboCop 2, I would most likely kill the TV out of frustration from what I read of your review.
@mufujifi: I kind of like the game. As I like many games that everyone else seem to hate (take a look at players reviews for NES's Dragon's Lair). I know there's a fair amount of nostalgia here, but I must say I can remember how these games looked/sounded/played/felt at the time they were released; and judging them only by nowadays standards isn't fair. A little bit of context can always be useful, so I put that into account.
The music on the C64 version of Robocop 1 was the best though

Nostalgia does weird things too us! Back in the NES/SNES days I used to play plenty of terrible games that you could call 'broken' and yet I still loved them. The difference between today and 20 years ago is that back then people "played" games, while nowadays people "buy" games. We buy more than we can play! Back then I used to rent random games all the time and just play the heck out of those cartridges, whether the game was good or bad. I don't even think I understood the concept of good games vs. bad game. I just played
Unfortunatelly I barely played C64.
@evrdayblues: That's Interesting. IMO we were able to play (and enjoy) any game with a little fun attached to it - no matter how small that funny part was. Don't tell that to Nintendo, but even if Zelda series was made only of cutting grass with the sword I would play it. It just feels good, I don't know...
Heck it was 18 years ago!
@evrdayblues: You should forgive them. An awesome idea like that must sprout, be watered, grow... And then we can cut it down!

Although, RoboCop 2 doesn't look like it'll be many people's cup of tea
