This weekend I was helping my dad with the yardwork and he randomly says that I can buy Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 if the only reason why it has a M rating is because of violence.
I thought this was odd as I didn't even try to get him to let me buy it. I was just talking about how everyone at school was excited for it. Maybe it was the fact that he saw my Xbox Live friends list when I was playing and there was a list of 9 or so people and each one of them was playing Modern Warfare 2.
Personally, I was getting ready to accept the fact that I would not get to play it until I was old enough to buy it myself.
In other news my dad made me climb my neighbors roof to clean it because it was dirty. I had never used a ladder before so it took me 10 minutes to pull myself up there. It then took me another 20 minutes to come back down. I do not have a fear of heights. I am afriad of falling.
After all that was over he was like good, you completed it. Do it again for practice...
So my parents bought me a netbookso I could use it to take notes for school. I got the Acer Aspire One netbook from Verizon. I was going to get it at Costco but someone told us that it was nearly half price over there, and I would have had to go there anyways so I could get service to access the internet from anywhere
I find that this netbook is pretty good. I'm using firefox as my main browser on it.
The Verizon access is useful but I only have a 5 gig bandwith usage limit. Thankfull though I can also connect to the internet with a wired connection and can also connect to wireless networks. The speed of the Verizon stick is only 1.5 Mb/s for me but it is seems to work farily well.
Abandoned desks, empty trees, complete silence. A clean board. A pencil snapping in half. The faint view of people out of the window, wander, lost. A door closing, people trapped inside with nothing to do but site and wait.
People wearing tobacco stained shirts preparing to win the jackpot of their lives at a casino. The bad driver on the free way that nearly causes a 20 car pile up. A man robbing a gas station, all of the houses beside it tagged by graffiti, and all of the windows smashed. A lady sitting on a bench tempted to move from a homeless man following her. Young women drinking coffee at a café when out of nowhere a black SUV crashes into it. An adventurous person attempting to hike up a mountain alone and dehydrated. A child with a stomach ache overdosing on Pepto-Bismol. A tree collapsing on the roof of a house killing a 9 month old cat. Abandoned buildings that haven't been used in years. An entire street with mailboxes filled with final notices. Students avoiding the swine flu. The sky filled with smoke. A man fiddling around with his computer. A dog trying to cross a busy highway. An old lady in the aisle of the supermarket slowly walking around while people wait behind her. A depressed father going to a funeral. A laptop catching on fire inside a girls backpack. A balloon popping in a ceiling fan. A bird flying into a wall. A man going to sleep only to repeat the process all over again.
